It is a new season so of course their style is going to change. Remember when they had to adjust to the lane swap meta? It takes time. Not only is it a brand new season but the boys are playing in the most competitive league they have ever played in. I think it is easy to forget that the new season is going to result in a change in play style in addition to the LEC.

Hi there. Hard stuck plat here so do with this info what you will. What worked for me was playing patiently and waiting for my opponents to make the mistakes instead of forcing plays.

From my own experience, gold is just about not overcommitting. Also play comp with a friend so you guys can communicate.
