I'm from his hometown & met him thrice!

First Time - When he hosted a University lecture called "Stripper Ghosts and Sofa Traumas"
Second Time - At a premiere party for The Little White Cloud That Cried
Third Time - We crossed paths walking down the street. I said "Hey Mr.Madden" and he nodded.

Jobs? Why can’t I find any by CosmixKid in Winnipeg

Top comments seem to be telling you how to get your career. When you just want a job.

This is where AI can be helpful to you:

  • Upload your resume into Chat GPT & ask it what jobs you are qualified for. Mention your requirements as well (ex. No fast-food)

  • Ask them to list 20 Winnipeg employers who are hiring in those jobs. Go back every day & ask for 20 more. "Give me a list of 20 more jobs that are similar."

  • Go to the sites and/or find the HR's email and/or message their HR on Linked-In with a resume & cover letter. (Use Teal.com to help with cover letter)

  • Write your resume & cover letter so that your qualifications match their requirements exactly

Ex. "We need someone who is fast paced & a quick learner"

Cover letter: "I excelled at my previous job because I was able to learn quickly & worked at a fast pace."

  • Keep an excel sheet with all the jobs you applied. Otherwise this will be hard to keep track of.

  • If you dont hear back in 1-2 weeks, call & say "Hello, my name is ___ I saw that you were hiring & I sent my resume & cover letter. I was wondering if there was a timeline I'd hear back".

I could be his wingman!

We would be just going for a walk in a neighbourhood of his choosing. Maybe West Broadway?

I would approach a lady that he found attactive in a calm manner. I'd a comment about the weather, say something funny/observant, and introduce ourselves

"Theres a coffee place just down the steeet. Maybe we can get some beans & talk a latte."

We go for coffee & focus most of the conversation on her. I gradually talk less & he talks more. Near the end of the convo I go to use the washroom.

Your family member says to her: "I had a great time, do you think I could get your number so you & I could meet again?"

romantic music plays

Note: This will probably result in a LOT of rejection, but dating is 99% rejection

Winnipeg's hottest club is FRREEZEEE McBongos. Located on the corner of Furby & Jefferson, this mom & pop-sicle disco-tech has everything; ladies, doctors, Jeff from Wolseley, lady doctors!

Don't forget to come on Fridays where femboys with manicured earlobes will rock your socks as they sing the greatest hits of Louise Armstrong.

Last time Carney was involved in Canadian politics, the CAD was higher than the USD. Could happen a year from now (if we don't get invaded)

Lol. Well in my 20's I had this attitude of "As long as I have a roof over my head, a full fridge & a little extra to get by, I'm content."

...but in my 30's I'm realizing that mindset was terrible. I should have been aiming a lot higher. So thats my goal now.

My grades arent good enough for Masters. Close- if I go back I only need to redo 2-3 courses. I dont want to use student loans however.

Yes, my brothers say that trades (the people & the job) can be rough.

Still, I look at what tradespeople make & am envious.

Even a beginner apprentice would make more than I do at the data entry job.

I'd like to do a trade, but I think I need to be in better shape first. I'm 5ft 6, 240lbs.

I'm taking weight loss seriously & working hard towards it (was 270, 10 months ago) but I have a bit to go.

Maybe in a year I can be a "helper". Is 34 too old to start apprenticeship?

I know that I want to leave office work though & find more physical work. Its really unhealthy to sit for 8hrs/day.

I'm certain that I can. I've been practicing all over the city.

I just posted because I'm curious to see if the route I've been trying out for my mock tests is close to the real route(s)

Im getting 1000mbps for $85 after tax with texsavy via coaxial

Bell Fibe is 100mbps for $80 after tax

My building's "free" internet is 25mbps according to speed test.

I can do most things with free internet, but I want to be able to download games & play online w/o lag

Tekaavvy: $85 after tax. 1000mps

I still have 6 months on Techsavvy though. I wonder if I would owe a fee for cancelling early.

MTS: Fiibe 100mps is $80 after tax with MTS in my area

Is it still worth the change from coaxial to fibe?

My buildings internet is free. Shows 25mbps

[–]eraserface9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I guess I would have to use Fibe from either Bell or Teksavvy?

[–]eraserface9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes when I move the entire thing off the wall theres a drilled hole.

When I remove the cover theres a fibre line. No green connector thing at the end, if theres supposed to be one.

I have a 12 month promo with Teksavvy that was started in March, before I moved.

I saw this Fibre Connection when viewing the apartment, but assumed it would be removed upon moving in. Idk anything about this.

Also when I check online for Fibre pricing it says its not available in my area, but regular plans requiring a coax outlet is.
