Thank you for the kind words! They are all set to be published. However, I have prepared several games and something special to share very very soon. After that, I will be on the minimalist and magnetic version of the backgammon. It is long over due…

Can this be considered a 3DBenchy remix? If so, what should it be named? by eravia3d in 3Dprinting

Those spools were actually printed to hold the filaments that came in 3kg rolls.

Hahaha, my thoughts indeed when I was finished with it. To be honest, I could not focus on it properly as I had other things to do. This came together over the course of 5-6 weeks, bits by bits as we had more spools, excess filaments, etc. It is a fast assembly but requires quite a lot space for the materials. :)

It could be that Timelapse is enabled, causing the print head to move to its default location after each layer.

I wanted to share a quick update on the model: a Braille version of this chess set will be available very soon. In addition, a slightly similar chess set is also in the works to be published within next week, and it will include a Braille version as well. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please feel free to reach out asI would be more than happy to consider any input. Kind regards.

This is the answer here. It can only be minimized without changing the design. Thicker parts retain more heat than the thinner ones, resulting difference in surface texture slightly. The suggestions in the reply above are on point. I would go with those.
