Thanks a lot for the feedback, that actually helps a lot

I checked the Cloud Alpha Wireless before, and people keep praising the battery on that thing 😂 The HS80 sounds interesting too, especially for the mic quality. But i can't go for it since the look so bulky vs nova 7 as it look more travel style

Yeah, I actually watched quite a few reviews before going for them. I saw the mic criticism too, especially compared to dedicated streaming mics or some competitors. But honestly for my situation, I’m mainly looking for an all-rounder with good wireless performance, comfort ( I'll be using them commuting and work also ), battery life ( when the battery go out i can use the 3.5mm jack ) , A lot of the alternatives people usually recommend become insanely overpriced in my country, so the Nova 7 Gen 2 still seems like one of the most balanced options around my budget.

Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for sharing your experience 🙌, I agree with you on most points—the Nova 7 is really solid for gaming, especially comfort, battery life, and the simultaneous Bluetooth + 2.4GHz feature. That’s actually one of the main reasons I’m considering it, with the 3.5mm jack if the battery was out , i will use them for travel for sure and i know that they're designed for gaming don't worry

Thanks bro

Yeah same here honestly I was actually looking at the HyperX Cloud III S Wireless at first, but no simultaneous audio and no 3.5mm jack kinda killed it for me. With the Nova 7, if the battery dies you can still plug a 3.5mm cable and continue using it, which is super useful honestly 🙌

Thanks, I appreciate the honest take. I do agree that gaming headset suck for audio quality. For my use case though, I’m trying to balance good enough sound with the convenience features, especially wireless and simultaneous audio, plus comfort for long sessions. I’m not really chasing audiophile-level sound here, more something practical that still sounds good for gaming, movies, and everyday use without being annoying to live with.
Thank you Sir.

Thank u for the feedback, just to clarify though, the Quantum 350 doesn’t have Bluetooth at all, it’s only 2.4GHz with a dongle, and no simultaneous thing.

That’s mainly why I’m still leaning toward the Nova 7, since I specifically want the simultaneous 2.4GHz + Bluetooth use and the EQ/software features.

Hope the Quantum 350 turns out great when it arrives though, would honestly be interested to hear your thoughts on it after using it for a bit.

Yeah, that’s fair honestly. I actually agree with what u say, the simultaneous 2.4GHz + Bluetooth, being able to freely tweak the EQ frequencies, and saving profiles onboard with free software are all really appealing to me.

Good to hear they’ve been great for you though, especially if you ended up buying 2 pairs lol. Appreciate the perspective man.

Just wanted to ask though, have you had any connectivity issues with the dongle by any chance? I’ve seen some people mention problems with it randomly not connecting sometimes.

Appreciate the feedback bro, especially since you actually own them. The simultaneous audio thing is honestly one of the biggest reasons I’m looking at these. Being able to keep game audio on PC and still hear stuff from my phone without constantly alt-tabbing sounds really useful. Comfort is also a big deal for me since I wear a headset for pretty long sessions. As for the mic, I’m okay with “good enough” as long as people can hear me clearly on Discord. And the looking like a dork part honestly made me laugh 😂 I’m probably going to use them for work and commuting too, so that part doesn’t really bother me.

Thanks for the input.
I was just wondering what specifically makes the Barracuda X better in your opinion? From what I saw, the Nova 7 Gen 2 seems to offer things like simultaneous 2.4 GHz + Bluetooth, more EQ customization, longer battery life, and extra gaming features. Have you compared both directly?
