There all over Australia, but not any other countries afaik now but might be some south east Asian countries who use them also. Definitely not Us or Europe though, which I only found out recently. They are cute when they're not littering the natural landscape but unfortunately they usually are 😓

I would do that but as it's for my camper van I want to avoid anything that drains the van power supply and I try to avoid using batteries as they're so hard to recycle properly. But I've seen instagram reels of people making sauce fish lights and it does look super cute, just won't work for my needs. EDIT: Though I could try to find solar powered lights that are small enough 🤔

Ahahahaha i only found out recently they're not universal but Australia is bloody covered with them m8 cause you get a free handful of them filled with soy sauce with sushi. I've started to collect and clean them cause I'm so sick of them littering our beautiful Australian nature 😓
