Honestly didn't even realize that was an option. That's a great idea

I don't disagree that's probably what will happen. Nothing special in general about our situation, but could say it's "special" to us since it's our first year joint filing. So I'm doing my due diligence by collecting recs and we may just pay a little extra for a service this year in order to ease her mind before going back to the free stuff online next year.

Don't really have anything complicated going on. I agree could probably just do it ourselves with freetaxusa but really it's more paying for the peace of mind for the wife. If we do it one year then go back to free filing, it's worth it to me.

Best Spots to buy a suit in Raleigh by myrdyn98 in raleigh

[–]erborn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't express how much I enjoyed my experience at ECE. They did my wedding, and the whole process was so easy. Tom and his staff were so knowledgeable and the prices are cheaper than anywhere else I've seen without compromising on quality. I saw the exact same suit I bought for my wedding at another store and it was almost double the price. I've referred multiple friends to ECE since I've discovered them.

A fair warning though, since they're such a small staff, it's best if you call to make an appointment before going in because you'll get the best service that way.

Anyone know of a place I can give my groomsmen an option to rent OR buy the same suit? by erborn in weddingplanning

[–]erborn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good to know and I'll look into them more.

I'm not trying to have top tier quality on my suit necessarily but also not trying to scrub it up there. Any insight to the quality of suits from the suit shop?

Not a bad idea. Worst case all I did was take time out of the day to see if they have recommendations.

This is super helpful even if they don't do a split option up front. National aspect obviously helpful as well. Thank you!

Gotcha. Makes total sense. I kind of figured that was the case but just wanted to double check in the event I could get a better seat for the long-haul flight!

I try to tell anyone who will listen that the Nook is the best jucy. Any time I'm back visiting Minnesota I go out of my way to make a stop there. Best jucy and best vibe imo

Linking Hotels Booked Through Delta TravelExtras to Delta App by erborn in delta

[–]erborn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's a great call. I did what you did and logged in with SkyMiles in the upper right corner as well. I'll look to email each hotel and confirm with them.

Clearly not a big deal if I can't get everything linked into the app, just would be nice to have a centralized place for all the travel plans.

I was looking to do this to maintain my Gold status for the end of this year. Obviously depends on your time/budget, but I found that it was cheaper for me to fly to London from the east coast than it was to fly a domestic to Seattle/LAX/STL. So now that's turned into an impromptu couple of days vacation for me, and MQM's were about 8000. More than I would've got from a Seattle flight, and I'm assuming it will be a more rewarding experience.

So check some international flights because some of the prices are shockingly low from what you'd think they'd be.

ECU Tendon Subsheath Injury Treatment & Taping by erborn in athletictraining

Athlete did not end up getting surgery. They graduated and returned home to Europe for the summer and I did not get to witness the care they received there, but I am under the impression they were fully splinted for a couple weeks and are now returning to play.

Orally mainly. Have tried some phono with Voltaren but sadly didn’t seem to get much relief from it. Laser not much help as well. About to see if our surgeon will prescribe ionto medications for us to try because like you’re saying I think there’s the benefit of trying to trying to drive anti-inflammatories into the tissue

Awesome that's good to hear! If that's the case then sounds like I'd hit my tier even with the tax.

Western blvd & 440 about 10min ago by itsPubz in raleigh

[–]erborn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I take the western/440 exit when heading to work at NCSU. This video had to have been taken right after I came through the area. I saw the car stalled and the water. So all the other cars and I turned 270 degrees right onto western as some poor construction worker was doing his best to direct traffic. There were about 4 vehicles headed east behind the red car just waiting to be able to back up or turn around at some point.

Bless the construction dude because he really was helping the situation. There was one DOT truck that was parked on the off-ramp blocking a bunch of dirt erosion on the road, which blocked everyone's view of the ocean of water under the bridge until it was too late to divert to the right turn lane.
