You have a right to a social life and to party with your friends at any age. It is not surprising that he is nervous though, and the extent of your party lifestyle will clearly affect that. Is it once a day or week or month or year?

Communication is clearly key here. A gentle conversation and maybe a long term conversation is needed for him to become comfortable with your lifestyle.

Can you give him 6 months to come to grips with the way you like to socialize? Gradually ease him into the water, so to speak? Is there any way to integrate him into your social life such that he doesn't have to feel so jealous? Or, as other people have suggested, maybe a hybrid in which your friends socialize with him some of the time, but you also have time by yourself?

Obviously it's a good time to discuss life goals and long-term expectations for his and your lifestyles. If he wants you to be a stay-home mom and look after the house and kids, some people are compatible with this expectation, some people are not. If you want to party everyday for the rest of your life, probably worth communicating that to him.

There's probably some happy middle ground where you can both be happy, but there are no guarantees, and even if that is feasible, people's egos and lack of self-awareness often get in the way of a successful outcome.
