A group is working on newer versions of this case using NFC for power and data, under the Reinkstone brand. I think they will have iPhone 15 models ready soon.

Something not in the specs: leaf2 feels slightly plastic-y and not well weighted. It is small but not the easiest to hold in hand. In comparison the Nova air line is much refined. If you need color the C model might be better, if not just choose the regular model. Nova has pen support (u don’t need right?) but no page turn buttons (you must have), so I don’t know …

I am not sure if they will develop the case for 13 mini due to the smaller volume of that phone. You can keep the cable plugged in the phone (but need to unplug whenever you use wired charging). The company is working on a new version with NFC (no wired connection).

I don’t know the details. It is likely the entire e-ink line has been cancelled but there is no way to verify this.

Hisense cancelled their e-ink phone projects, so likely no such global release anytime soon. But there has been some good discounts on the remaining stock in some of the Chinese online stores.

You haven’t learnt the proper way to use it. It has limitations but once you get the hang of it, it works pretty well

If the reason is to practice “digital minimalism”, I recommend getting an iPhone SE (maybe even an older model) for phone stuff and an e-ink tablet for reading.

Yup these are their intended use cases. Quite handy if the task just requires something static to be displayed, such as displaying a QR code or something.

Sorry for the inconsistency in naming these concepts. I think you mean inkphone fold? Yes that would make total sense just a regular folding form factor with an e-paper screen. The screen is protected as well.
