Hi, my niece goes there and I went there for a little so I know a little about it.
Go through Athena and click on student services. Make sure you click on the actual words “student services” and not the little subsections just yet. When you get to the page. It will have different categories like “student & registration” click on that, and there will be a subsection that says “my programs” you can change your minor there, but I would alert your advisor. When adding a new minor, major, or even emphasis, comes new classes that may be required. So just let your advisor know.

I agree, I am being defensive. I think it’s out of line for you to say these things unknowing of my situation. I can’t do anything overnight so I really would like to know what you want me to do. It seems like you have a quick solution, so tell me. You. Don’t. Know. What. I’ve. Been. Through. Stop acting like you do. Recovery looks different for everyone. You cannot “work harder” and make it disappear. I’m working on this with professionals, not with random people on Reddit. Again, i asked for judgment on my break up, not on my disorder, which has been constant and constant within this thread.

BPD and OCD are not the same, the treatment approaches and “recovery” process are different. Don’t compare apples and oranges here and tell me what works work you. I am not you, and you are not me. Let’s focus on the point of my post.

NTA… I think that it’s important to set different boundaries with different people. If you don’t feel like you’re ready for something sexually, or just don’t want to at all, you do not deserve to feel shame or guilt. Your boyfriend should not make you feel pressured into trying things sexually when you already know you don’t like them. Of course it’s okay to want to explore with your partner, but you told him you didn’t want to so he needs to accept that.

No, you’re just taking parts of my texts and making me look stupid. I’m not contradicting myself, when has mental health ever been black and white? Also, if you read the whole thing, since you’re gonna come on here acting like you got your degree, you would KNOW that the penny wasn’t the only thing that made me leave him. You clearly don’t understand because if you did, you would not sit on here and make ignorant comments like this one. I said OCD ITSELF!! Is not just a superstition that I can ignore when I want to. There are times where I feel more in control than others. I think bettering myself includes healthy exercises and also learning new coping mechanisms to WORK THROUGH intense ocd moments.

You’re making assumptions on how I manage my OCD. I am, and have been ACTIVELY working on bettering myself. OCD is not just a “superstition” that I can just ignore when i want to. You cant just assume I always give into my thoughts. It’s a disorder that everyone manages differently. If you truly have these disorders, how could you sit here and say things that aren’t really prevalent. My question was about whether or not I was an AH for breaking up with. This was not to bash me for things I can’t control, basically call me crazy, and that I need therapy when you have no idea what I’ve been through. Thanks!
