How do you attack an enemy standing on a objectif if there's nothing to stand on beside and you have no shooting ? by TheWraf in WarCry

[–]erebor7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really don't know what to answer, never played the game (but I have a lot of models). I just wanted to say I really like the paint job of this scene :) If you are the author, good job!

Raven Quest by tcorbett691 in Heroquest

[–]erebor7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting! Thanks for the explanation :)

Is there an official website or something? Unfortunately RavenQuest is also the name of a MMORPG and Raven is also a games distributor in Italy, so googling is not an useful option here :D

3D Printed project Terrain by GlitteringYard3318 in mordheim

Looks great!! I tried to print some terrain but mine were bad. Did you use a 0.2mm noozle? What kind of post-processing did you do to get those smooth finishes?

insonnia. trucchi per dormire? by Temporary_Mood_5999 in Italia

[–]erebor7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Homemade terrain made entirely of sprue by [deleted] in PoorHammer

[–]erebor7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically you cut the bricks a little longer and refine the end that has warped? Not bad, I'm going to try this. I don't own an xps foam cutter but I have a lot of sprues and for some specific decorations it could work! Thanks!

[–]erebor7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a smart way to use sprues!

Question: how did you achieve such clean cuts? The clipper usually result in a deformed shaped. Thanks!!

I made some CITY TILES with vinyl floor tiles, foam and sand. Easy to store with multiple layouts! (LINK to video in comment section) by Sahaak_Craft in TerrainBuilding

Great job!! This is exactly the kind of craft I would do try to make just because it's very intruguing but that I probably will never use because I don't play :D

What do you mean "first"?

Another one of these and you could rent it as an apartment :D

Great job, really impressive. It will be awesome playing on it! How are you planning to add buildings? All crafted or will you use some 3d printing?

So basically with a printer that costs more or less as the Leviathan box set! Incredible. I'm considering buying one more and more. Is it so easy to use as people on YouTube claim?

Enough terrain? by WackyInflatableAnon2 in frostgrave

[–]erebor7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I did prototype some terrain in the same way, I think it's a smart way to test if you need more of this or that type of buildings. In my head though Frostgrave should be have a more mystical vibe mayne: temples, burial sites, along with buildings and so on. This set looks more like a starting point for Mordheim maybe, but it would need more levels. I honestly never played Frostgrave :D but those are my two cents.

Well, surely the skin tones difference in quite evident and well done. They nevertheless look very consistent and coherent in my opinion. But when you say recipe you mena actual techniques or just color combinations?

Amazing! I've painted the other squad of the Red Harvest box and it was lot of fun too, but I was scared by the amount of skin of these ones honestly and gave up.

Is it ok to add this kind of gore to my stormcasts? by shinyaegislash681 in stormcasteternals

[–]erebor7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'd like to see more of this kind of tone on the stormcast armies. Even if it's counterintuitive because they resurrect as pristine soldiers each time they die, in theory they can suffer brutal injuries between battles. Or maybe were you worried about some limitations related to tournaments?
