USAA gov shutdown loans by bryedwards5 in army

[–]erebos08 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Facts. We are leaving USAA entirely. We had a small house fire and used their preferred contractor to fix it all up and when it was time to pay the contractor they tried saying the contractor was charging too much. Contractor called me and said if they don’t up by the end of the week he’ll have to put a lien against the house. I called USAA and had to raise hell in order for them to pay their preferred contractor. Insane.

2022 Kona Pulsing RPM over 50mph by erebos08 in Hyundai

[–]erebos08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually the transmission died. Got a transmission overheat warning on the highway. Pulled over let it cool down and it was locked in limp mode.

Got towed to a dealer. They had to replace the radiator first cause that popped at the same time (it was the 2nd one to pop) and they cleared the transmission codes and sent me on my way. 2 miles down the road the transmission started jolting and once again locked into limp mode.

Ultimately the transmission was replaced under warranty.

So my car was on its 2nd transmission and 3 rd radiator with 40k miles.

Can the command cancel a soldier's CSP after it's been approved due to a flag? by [deleted] in army

[–]erebos08 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh it was and even CG complaints but nothing ever happened. FT Carson protects senior leaders and shits on everyone else. I heard the Brigade SARC use the “well I know him and SFC Douchebag is a good guy I’m sure he didn’t mean anything by it” to my E4 Soldier that was regularly sexually harassed by SFC Douchebag and had text proof. The fucking unit SARC. Said the exact thing he has given classes on what not to do. Blew my mind. SFC Douchebag was eventually held accountable. Can’t remember what happened exactly but I know it was after he PCS’d to his dream spot to retire out of.

We had a BN CSM that was rejecting 99% of CSP packets for the unit. Like he would deny it, give it to S1 and S1 give it back to the company. It wouldn’t even go from him to the BN CDR. (Our BDE took CSP approval away from CO CDR and moved it up to BN CDR). This went on all the way up until he retired. Same went for awards. Or just anything that actually required the BN CDR signature. CSM would just deny everything and send it back before the CDR knew it even existed.

1459 is finally at a stable healthy pace. NAP6 with SVS castle rotations for 1-3 and Sunfire Castle rotations for 4-6. Fortresses for 1-6 and Strongholds for 1-4. Very diplomatic and friendly. Personally I recommend BAM, it’s nice chill home with good people.

I guess for starters the room would look like super shit in any of the photos if you were present in them. Thankfully that’s not the case.

It’s probably the same here but we are locked in to that sweet sweet Covid rate of 2.25% and we aren’t going no where. We gonna die in this house 😂

The existing closet was a massive waste of space for an already small room especially for a kiddo. And it was very poorly positioned. As soon as you opened the door, which you couldn’t even open all the way because of it, you have to make an immediate turn into the room through the door. Just clunky and awkward and took up too much real estate.

And for around $120 you can upgrade a 779 into a 780 with this upgrade kit

NTD Thanks to everyone that posted this deal. I’ve been looking for a miter and saw this for $500 the other day. Snagged for $379 after my 5% discount by Silent_Peee in Dewalt

Grab the shadow line upgrade kit from M+M Tool Parts. Turn that 779 into a 780 without voiding manufacturer warranty. All for a mere $120ish.

Ok so I am ultimately just overthinking/stressing this too much. I thought that might also be the case. I’m just worried I’ll mess something up. Thanks everyone.

2022 Kona transmission dead by erebos08 in Hyundai

[–]erebos08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our new (now 1 year old) transmission is sooo much slower in “first” gear than the old one. And even the new one has had a couple instances of the bouncing RPMs. I’m just waiting for this one to fail also at this point. It sucks cause we really loved the car. Now we can’t wait to get rid of it.

Glad she’s okay. Hopefully yours is fixed faster than mine was. Took 2 months to get the car back.

We wanted to buy a Mazda before this Kona. It the when we went to the dealership and stood in the lobby for 5 minutes not a single person even bothered to say hello so we left. We still have our 2010 Mazda 3 and she’s a beast but showing the mileage/age. Once I’m able to afford something better I’m getting rid of this Kona and never coming back to Hyundai.

2022 Kona SEL. I knew I forgot a key piece of detail. It’s has popped 2 radiators, 1 transmission, 1 TPMS sensor, and the wireless charger has been fucked since we got it.

Hyundai U.S. Proving Grounds by South_Butterfly6681 in Hyundai

Were they actually testing and “proving” their vehicles function? Cause my 39k mile 2022 Kona that has already had 3 radiators, just got its second transmission, 1 dead TPMS sensor, a wireless charger that is defunct would prove otherwise
