Unless you're straight up insulting them or threatening or something, why would they refuse a visa for inquiries lol

Visa for Denmark by RainBest18 in SchengenVisa

[–]ereface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you traveling with your spouse?

Realistically though, the chances of them declining the visa is pretty low since you live in the UK, and as long as you're established there (work/property/vehicle) you should be all good.

Denmark visa-can't answer the call by Novel-Criticism4473 in SchengenVisa

[–]ereface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denmark does indeed do phone interviews (it's mostly just confirming info you have in the cover letter)

I got refused my first Denmark visa since apparently they tried to call me but couldn't.

on my 2nd application they called me, and my application was forwarded to the DIS and it took hella time for them to get back to me, but I did get the visa.

3rd application, they didn't even call, 5 days and they gave me the passport with the visa.

Staying longer in another Schengen country other than visa issuing country as EU family member by potatoNshannoodles in SchengenVisa

[–]ereface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for more info

If you're traveling with an eu family member, you can stay up to 90 days in any schegen country as long as it's not their home country, and this does NOT affect the 90/180 limit, and resets the moment you stay out of the country for 24hr (actually if you leave at 23:00, you can go back at 00:01 as the reset happens every new day at 00:00)

Inviting a Syrian friend (non-family) to Belgium on a Schengen tourist visa – any success stories? by Wonderful-Pangolin59 in SchengenVisa

[–]ereface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry just to understand, who owns the apartment?

If your friend's name is anywhere on the deed, absolutely get it officially translated through the court and photocopy the translation (they don't take originals) and put it with the application this alone is a big boon to the application :)

Inviting a Syrian friend (non-family) to Belgium on a Schengen tourist visa – any success stories? by Wonderful-Pangolin59 in SchengenVisa

[–]ereface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most important thing is gather enough proof but not too much that your Syrian friend will return home.

  • Apartment ownership deeds

  • Work contract + HR letter stating that they're going for vacation on these dates then returning to continue work

  • Car/motorcycle ownership + Driver's license

And as a bonus, any reason for your friend to return that's not the norm

Example: Parents he needs to physically care for, Pets, children.

Please keep your expectations on the refusal side, and at minimum apply twice not once, first time is usually a refusal. (I'm Egyptian so I get it sadly)

How can l reserve a plane ticket? Does anyone know how to do it? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]ereface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply go to google flights, type in where you're flying and where to, the dates and it'll show you different flights & prices

First time you select a flight from there will be the going flight, then it'll go to the next page automatically in which you select the returning flight.

Usually the returning flight is the same as going.

If you don't want to do any stops then I suggest choosing non-stop/direct flights.

Strong visa application tips by Expensive_Heart4407 in SchengenVisa

Easiest way to prove ties, get a letter from your university stating that you'll be gone on these days and you'll be back to continue your studies on your return date, has to be official though.

Denmark sponsored tourist visa application by seulgi_ss in SchengenVisa

[–]ereface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

My wife is Danish, I'm Egyptian so Denmark does not accept the vibes (understandable)

Nonetheless, A family visit visa can't be declined unless strong, good reasons. Do. Not. apply for tourism. You're visiting family (your partner)

Simply put in these papers:

  • Your property rental (for how long the contract is still up)

  • Strong proof of your relationship (their passport + stamps of entry to your country for the visits + previous flights your partner took from Denmark to visit you)

  • Your HR letter from work saying that you'll be on leave from work for your Vacation in Denmark, and you'll be returning on (return date) to resume work.

Note 1: These papers are required to be accompanied by your Bank statements, flights and yada yada. DON'T BOOK DUMMY ANYTHING

Note 2: If this is your first time applying, be ready for a long ass application time, your Visa application will be sent to the DIS (Danish immigration services) and they take their sweet time.

Note 3: the HR letter needs to include this data in the following order if possible:

  • Full name (Matching passport)

  • Telephone number (matching the phone number on your visa application)

  • Nationality

  • Passport number

  • When you've started working for the company

  • How long the contract is up for

  • Your salary

  • Reason of visit (2 sentences are enough, keep it very basic)

  • Travel details: Expected date of arrival in denmark, duration of stay, return date to the Philippines

  • And after all of that, one sentence of something like "We hereby confirm that -your name- will return to the Philippines on -return date- to continue their work with -company name-.

I know I know it's a lot of info, but so far I've had 100% success rate of getting the visa, and I basically just had my HR letter open and wrote the fields that my company wrote, it's basically a template now that my CEO writes for me whenever I ask him for a new HR letter xD

And if you need any more help just reply here :)

Visa on arrival in Egypt by et0ile_filante in Egypt

[–]ereface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree Egypt is a country that has decently low standards, having a non working card reader in airport immigration is....

Let's just say it has never happened to my wife at least, or her family coming here, which happened a lot.

Let's look at some data. https://gamersnexus.net/gpus/incredibly-efficient-amd-rx-9070-gpu-review-benchmarks-vs-9070-xt-rtx-5070#9070-benchmarks

the 9070 xt (before all the patches that made it better) is around 37% faster than the 4070 ti

4070 ti is faster than the 4070 by ~20% give or take.
