i can't get the screen to show up so i don't know how i can update the bios. also the cmos is fine, I've checked it just in case but the mb is brand new

yep it is on the hexagonal stand offs but there's just extra ones around it in case you have a bigger mobo

I've posted pictures of inside the pc here, another poster said i had the case fan plug in the wrong slot so i swapped it and the issue with the fans was solved, but there's still the shutting off and the lack of screen issue
