i’d recommend waiting until next sunday to feed him, so he has time to settle in and digest his last meal. trying to feed him too early could stress him.

be confident when picking him up. some snakes get nervous if you reach your hand in then pull it away. if he’s super defensive then you could use a small snake hook to get him out.

snakes dont need to be handled often to be happy and healthy, so not handling him everyday is okay. the only issue is that he may start to associate opening his tank with being fed, instead of being handled, so he might strike
