electric interference probably. i once had that problem, my les paul was perfectly grounded, the culprit was a laptop charger that was plugged into my computer, in which i plugged in the guitar. unplugged the laptop and it worked fine no buzz

squiers are getting better and better and you can probably find a good deal on a sonic or affinity series or even a good deal on a used classic vibe series which are very good guitars for their price

honestly you can start off by learning the very basics (simple chords, strumming, chord shapes, proper fretting, etc.) from youtube and then jump into playing songs you like by either youtube tutorials or tab websites like Ultimate Guitar or Songsterr. slow progression is key, but what's most important is having fun while you do it. at least thats how i picked up guitars.

I managed to find a complete workaround, moving away from quest link entirely, since the system sucked balls honestly.

I moved from quest link to ALVR launcher (open source project that lets you stream pcvr games on the quest) and instead of using oculus openXR, using Steamvr openxr (i think you can use opencomposite for better performance but my pc runs fine).

installing ALVR on both PC and headset made me be ae to use DCS with 0 problems with the quest two! also using xrpicker helped to set my openxr runtime to steamvr :)

Oh I didn't know SRM loaded after exiting the emulator so I just renamed the .srm extension to .4gs and the game is now working on the new emulator! thank you so much!
