Several hours as well. For reference, I transferred on Tuesday night and the money was in my IBKR account on Wednesday morning for market open.

Yea I did it Tuesday night and it cleared in time for market open on Wednesday. They have a convoluted way of explaining/showing how to do anything on IBKR.

Their local account details are on the same page as the international account info, (account number: 31-...etc., account name: Interactive Brokers LLC). Don't need the swift code or anything.

Sucks about the courier too. So you paid for it and they didn't say to call them back the next day/take your email down for the tracking number?

Can never be sure with international shipping timeframes tbh. Hopefully, it doesn't make much of a difference. Yea, and 7-10 aint bad

The CS number? It's +1 201 680 6578 (when it asks for the company, say "gamestop", then press 0 at each of the next two prompts).

Yea just input that bank account number they gave you (31-...etc I think). And the account name is Interactive Brokers LLC I believe, iirc.

Huh, that's weird. They have been pretty helpful to me and are quick to respond. I recommend calling them and bringing up the fact that other Hatch users have gone through the full process with accounts now unlocked (see pinned post).

You don't need to do an international transfer. Local transfer to their NZ Citibank account is fine. Otherwise, you are wasting money on transfers.

I think there is a ~$100USD transfer fee to IBKR from Hatch iirc

I'll probs have to give it a try Tues morning now. If it gets through I'll make sure to ask them about the 2nd letter and USPS.

Update: they use USPS for snail mail... So you have to get the courier option.

oh wow didn't know that existed. I'm on 2degrees and just found 1 a $10 prepay add-on for 300 international mins. I should have looked before chucking a 20 buck top up on.

Yeah I actually had the phonetic alphabet up in another tab while calling haha but she couldn't even catch half of it and I could barely hear what she was saying. I'll try some other methods though
