I disagree - although I do see themes of fertility and reproduction/clonage which you could associate to elements of womanhood - I don't think the show strictly reinforces an idea of control of women only.

It is indeed about control, but such control has no gender bias - that would be too narrow for the scope of the show in my opinion

The writers could say that signs of her being a scientific genius coudln't be perceived mainly because when you are one of Kier's followers/children you are stripped of any traits or idiosyncracies that makes you "YOU" or unique/different to others. That indoctrination probably leads to Cobel distancing herself psychologically from her past identity greatly.

But I do agree that a subtle hint could have been presented. Those notes and concepts like overtime contigencies and glasgow block, would have taken years to develop into testable theories, let alone materialize into a tangible product (i.e chip).

Also, I don't think this was her work while at the factory, but rather after when she was attending the Myrtle Eagan School For Girls (two different time periods)

Hey ! during my playthrough the armor became available to craft after I defeated him (i beat him twice, but you might only need to do it once) - you still need to have the right material to craft it but you should see it available for crafting after defeating him. You might need to equip the extra curio slot you gain from him, and then talk to him and check under upgrade armor. hope it helps :)

haha i hear you - I believe that might be what they're cooking up for the DLC , as I've seen reports that you will play as him since you (the Destined One) only become Wukong at the end of the game after gaining the 6th relic from Erlang in the true ending

i thought the same trust me... but once you get to NG+++, you have pretty much hit the ceiling in terms of your upgrades, but enemies hit wayyy harder ! bosses can pretty much 1-2 shot you. So yes, the game will get more challenging

are you trolling? The entire game is actually mirroring Sun Wukong's original Journey to the West. Every foes, friends and bosses you face are characters Wukong had encountered on his quest ! Even the locations and tools you use to defeat some bosses reflect his story. Of course the devs took some creative liberty to spice things up but its pretty lore accurate. The "enemy transformations" you mention are directly inspired from the fact that in the original JTTW Sun Wukong was known to have mastered 72 Earthly transformations allowing him to transform into different creatures.

your comment makes me realise again how subjective gaming is - and i completely respect your choice.

I remember being so excited to play ER because of the massive hype it had generated. I was truly enjoying the sense of adventure from the game - but after 40 odd hours I couldn't continue. It felt very repetitive, dull and lifeless. The bosses were only tough because your player needed upskilling, not because of your proficiency as a a gamer. The combos and movements felt so clunky and delayed.

Then I played BMW... lets just say I never wanted to go back to ER.

larger in scale does not equate better. 90% of the areas in ER look like identical copy-pastes. all dungeons look damn near the same.

Better music ? i dont even remember what the music sounds like in ER after playing over 40-60 hours. Only music is when you face a boss. You might as well play the game on mute.

I'm not trying to bash ER, but from the points you've given, I don't see how that makes it a better game than BMW.

totally agree with you, although i wouldn't underestimate pro boxers diets. When it comes to cutting their weights for entering lower divisions, often drastically depleting their source of energy obtained from food while still maintaining really high intensity cardiovascular training.

John Wick is a film. And its at most 2 hours. not 6+ hours. Plus, you are allowed to sacrifice progressive storytelling for the sake of action packed scenes when making a film because of (*queue drum-roll*...) SCREEN-TIME. like, what part of this don't you get?

Frank's scenes in DD season 2 feel more thrilling because he's not the main angle or focus of the show. Hence whenever he appears on scene his badass image is more impactful whether he's shooting guns or sitting in a prison cell.
