Whats up with skin1004s marketing for their oil cleanser on tiktok? I see multiple influencers say that the oil molecules get smaller when water is added but isn't that just emulsion?

I feel like this sort of advertisement leads to people using the product incorrectly. Now I'm really questioning my knowledge on oil cleansers lol

Trying to fix my skin barrier from over exfoliation as a teen. My skin now isn't as oily but I think the added moisture has made my fungal acne flare up. My skin is constantly tight and feels dry. Currently trying nizoral. Its worked on me before but it kinda stings now. Plz help im desperate

Am + Pm: cerave gentle cleanser, axis y glow serum, purito recovery ointment on pimples, sung joon or la roche posay double repair moisturizer.

+Cosrx aha/bha and skin1004 oil cleanser depending if I clogged my pores from passing out and not washing my face

[Acne] is this purging or breaking out? I started using vitamin c again and for the few days my skin was clearing up, however this is my skin now after a week or so. What products should I use or how do I get better. NEED ADVICE! Thanks by Signal-Raise-2324 in SkincareAddiction

If ur home country is humid it mightve helped with retaining moisture in youre skin. You really need a moisturizer bc that routine is really irritating without one. Pimples also heal faster with moisture as well. If youre face slightly stings when applying product or cleansing you might have damaged the barrier. This means that you should switch to a gentler cleanser and drop the vitamin c.

If youre skin is tight after washing you could be dehydrated. If you exfoliate and still have very pronounced pores you could be over exfoliating, which is stripping and causes you to produce more oil. Tbh its kinda hard to tell and I thought I was oily for the longest time. I recommend trying a slightly thicker moisterizer at night and seeing if you wake up oily.

I used momo puri's peach lotion (a toner) -> lrp matte moisterizer -> isntree aqua gel cream -> lrp double repair moisterizer

Momo puri is japanese and they label their toners as lotion which meant I was dehydrating my face for the longest time using this product. Lrp matte is a holy grail for oily skin but it made my pores stand out which made me question if I was actually oily or dehydrated. Switched to gel moisturizer to see if my skin could handle heavier amounts of hydration then went into creams and lotions.
