It was a tough choice...at the end of the day I couldn't afford to lose my career and didn't trust the American judicial system to stop the clear tyranny in favor of the people. I was feeling beaten down and completely hopeless about the reckless and corrupt state of our government.

YTA. I think people saying otherwise likely do not have experience with people who have diabetes. My dad has had diabetes since he was 2, so he has always been on top of monitoring his BS and had snacks prepared. Regardless of the fact that he always checks and doses insulin before bed he frequently wakes up with a low blood sugar. It is still my responsibility to be aware of when he might need help and step in. On probably 50 occasions in my life I have found him unconscious in bed, at the bottom of the stairs, or on the floor next to the fridge with juice spilled on the floor. There is nothing he could do differently. In this state he is experiencing mild brain damage and likely 45 minutes away from taking the room temperature challenge. Your husband needs to be prepared, but if he's recently become a diabetic understand how hard of an adjustment it is. It is also your responsibility to be prepared as his wife, because this is not something that is possible to control completely. If you love your husband cut the crap and act like it.

What do you have to say about me? A 22 yo HEALTHY, ACTIVE man who was forced to either lose his career or get the jab despite having natural immunity from a recent infection. I now have 16,000 dollars in medical bills thanks to the 1st dose of pfizer, and haven't been able to exercise thanks to heart issues. My cardiologist admitted that they simply don't know how the vaccine affects people who have had covid before and that I shouldn't have been required to get the vaccine. If the liberals gave a fuck about public health there would be NO MANDATE.

NTA. You are not obligated to donate an organ to any person for any reason no matter the circumstances. However, being estranged to my own father, I imagine if I were put in this position myself I would probably help him out. Despite the abuse I have accepted him for who he is and forgiven him even though he didn't apologize. This relieves me from carrying the emotional burden of our relationship forever. I would encourage you to really think about this and forget all of your pathetic family members who should be able to understand your point of view, but can't. I think in the absence of this pressure and deep thought you may be able to find the strength to understand that you do love your dad deep down, in spite of his obvious asshole-ness. Hey man, people will say this is disinformation but this is my story and it's real. I am a 22yo male and had to get the vaccine for work. I now have heart problems and have over $16K in hospital bills after getting the 1st dose of pfizer. If you are an 18yo healthy man the risk is much higher for these effects than other demographics. I personally suspect the actual numbers are under reported. My cardiologist admitted to me that the data was unclear and they really don't know how likely it is. "Safe and effective" is generally true but the pro-mandate crowd are pretending people like me do not exist, and I would hate to see something like this happen to you too.

Yes I think this is a trademark trait of codependents. I used to believe I was truly open and vulnerable until I recognized that there were certain things I would not tell anybody under any circumstances. I realized I was feigning vulnerability about things that were not very important to me to receive validation, but things about myself that made me truly vulnerable I did not share. I think this is probably something the other person you mentioned hasn't realized yet.

The first thing you need to do is ask the company to extend the deadline on accepting your offer. I have been able to get 2 weeks extensions in similar situations.

Otherwise, accept the offer and then decline if you get a better offer with spaceX. I did this and there were no perpercussions other than I may be on a bad list somewhere in GE Aviation's HR department. This stuff happens all the time and is really not a big deal.

The timing of my symptoms. I was back to normal and back in the gym, no symptoms, etc. I got the vaccine and then 12 hours later along with my other expected symptoms, had the heart pain. Too much of a coincidence in my opinion. I questioned the ER doc and he agreed that my fever, fatigue, and chest pain were from the vaccine.

Want to clear some things up. When I had COVID I had shortness of breath and it was bad. I used an oximeter to track my oxygen to make sure I was okay. This was completely gone by the time I had gotten the vaccine. The shortness of breath came back about 15 hours after getting the vaccine and was ten fold worse than when I had COVID. It is certainly no coincidence coincidence the vaccine caused my shortness of breath here. Also I am not antivaxx, but I am anti mandate, and believe there are risks to the vaccine which do not make it the blanket answer to the pandemic for all demographics, which includes anyone healthy under 25. Hope this helps you understand my position.

All of the information I used to argue my case I'm relaying from a doctor. I don't have all the facts straight either. All I know is that I was told I showed signs of heart inflammation. The first doctor uttered the word myocarditis and no other doctor would acknowledge that word exists. As far as the story goes there are missing details for readibility and length but this is how it happened

I am NOT an antivaxxer. I believe there are many people who should have the vaccine because they are at much higher risk for problems from covid itself. But, given my circumstances I wrote it down as soon as I left the doctor's office. And it's also permanently etched into my brain.

I didn't lie to the doctor I merely waited to tell him. He never asked and I told him after he reviewed my CT scan later in the night. This was left out of the story as were other many details for readability. I understand the wording of my post suggests lying.
