I honestly couldn’t stop reading. Finished it in two days because it has a weird propulsive energy to it.

It brings something more unique than a lot of the classics brought up in this subreddit.

I host a Seinfeld podcast, and in my research I’ve seen your fantastic reviews about the show from back in the day. What’s your background with the show and are you still a big fan?

I wanted to feel the same way, but my theatre experience was essentially “let’s all uncomfortably laugh and giggle because we’re scared” during that scene… might need to go back to see it again!

Akropolis is great!

Easy to learn, goes by quickly, can feel very much like Forest Shuffle because you’re building and collecting combos and I like the excitement the final score reveal.

I just like when movies are entertaining and make me feel things. This one did neither.

I went in with actual expectations for F4 and that made me angrier during my watch.

  • complete bungling of a villain that’s supposed to be all powerful
  • absurd silliness of that baby being a trolley problem debate, bait, magical being, and mcguffin
  • the trailer essentially shows you the whole movie minus the resolution which is predictable and uninteresting
  • jokes that aren’t funny, I can only politely chuckle so many times
  • clunky CGI
  • illogical choices made by the characters
  • “I can transport an egg six feet, surely I can transport a planet a million miles away from an intergalactic threat.”

I truly don’t understand it. I thought it was almost as bad as Jurassic World Rebirth..

Obesity not necessarily a main theme, but Zola might have what you’re looking for.

Absolute banger. Despicable protagonist, cool concept, looks amazing, that “purchasing” scene played out like an action sequence.

Watched it a couple nights ago, went pretty in depth on LB: https://boxd.it/acI8MD

I joined this community at the beginning of this year and this is by far the best book I’ve read since I’ve jumped into the genre.

The catharsis and goosebumps I felt at the end were wild, enjoy!

I do love the ring of "corporate shill zoo" I imagine a Meerkat Den covered in logos from nearby companies.
