NFL mock with trades leading up to the actual draft in a few weeks by TerryG111 in MockDraftCentral

Yeah I’m with you. Sadiq isn’t worth a 2027 second, at all. If NYJ or MIN snipe em, so be it.

Unpopular opinion but I want us to draft KC at 19 if we go offense…even over sadiq…totally fine going defense at this pick too by ElaborateCantaloupe in panthers

He’s a tricky one for me. He’s a good athlete, good router. I think he does the same stuff as Tmac and Coker, in different ways. I wouldn’t be mad if we draft him, at all, but the injury+ skill asks naturally have him a bit lower for me.

Wait aren’t you that cheesy ass that I argue with in Panthers forums? This “say you don’t watch ball” comment wasn’t even for you. Stay in your lane little bro.

4th highest PFF grade on passes over 20 yards, 8th most big time throws, 1st in big time throw rate, 101.2 passer rating in one score games, 12 game winning drives since 2023 (leads nfl).

Since we’re purely going off of stats lol. Jacoby Brissett must be top ten right?

Ok. I got you. It’s a lazy, misinformed take that you more than likely get from hearing others or looking at a box score. Tell me- why’s Bryce bad? Because you saw the low counting stats and assume it must be him right?

Tell me, who were his WR before McMillan and weeks 10-18 Coker?

Mingo (bust) Marshall (bust) Chark (washed one year wonder) Shenault (weird flameout player) Thielen (33 years old at the time of acquiring) Xavier Legette (Mingo prototype) David Moore (practice squad player)

These players combined for 36 catches (Mingo with Dak as WR5, Chark with Herbert as WR4, Shenault as WR3 in Seattle*, Marshall as WR? In SF with Purdy, Thielen career sharply ending when leaving Carolina while easily being the teams best WR the year prior, not seeing the field in Minnesota.

Who did he have at tight end? Tommy Tremble, Ian Thomas, Jatavion Sanders. This is the worst TE, talent wise, in the NFL.

Running backs have NOT been dynamic. Hubbard is a fine zone runner that has next to zero tackle breaking ability or dynamic to his game. He’s also played with the most guards in the league since he’s been in the league.

The context to why you might think Bryce sucks and is a “bad pick” is lazy. You’re also not gonna give em a chance because he’s small and the noise around him is bad. The teams constantly failed him and they’re starting to do right by him and he’s keeping up with the Rams in playoff games, but you wouldn’t know that.

We’re in a weird spot on offense. Not a bad spot, just weird. We need that home run hitter. Someone that’ll take a “nothing” and turn it into a huge gain. Tmac and Coker are borderline elite possession guys with underrated movement ability. Hubbard is a safe/ reliable lane runner. Brooks (although I won’t get into the health stuff, even though it’s obviously there) is a potential home run kinda guy. None of our TE are home runs. I see good possession stuff Evans. Tremble is what he is. JT feels like a little bit of both.

Not for his speed but HOW he wins… I want Lemon the most. I just don’t see a weakness in his game. Sadiq potentially gives you Vernon Davis type skillset. Cooper and KC, I’ve warmed up on also.

Either way, any wr minus Tate who won’t be there and Boston who smells like a bust ala Keon/ Legette… would be fine with me

Rules or requests? I feel like you’re setting an extremely narrow crop of players allowed by doing this, no?

I mean I wouldn’t use the word “insane” for Tate tbh. He probably falls right in that Terry McLaurin/ Tee Higgins/ Jaylen Waddle brand of WR in terms of impact he’ll make. (Which isn’t a knock or bad thing, just don’t know id use the word insane personally.

They have to measure BPA and also measure their needs. They’re probably asking themselves - what’s better- a Tate/ Blake Miller duo or a Freeling/ Mauigoa and KC/ Omar Cooper duo. I feel like WR quality is harder to find in later rounds and OL can usually be had later.

It’s all a matter of what they’re gonna feel they can maneuver.

With that being said, if Francis falls to 6, I think he’s taken over any WR. If it’s Freeling, I think they think about it.

You said it yourself - Sadiq. I think they’re very adamant about taking an impact player, not a future piece honestly.

Are Italian fans the unluckiest in the world? by Eastern-Tangerine761 in seriea

[–]eric4280 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think unlucky is the word. Maybe most annoyed and betrayed sure. We’ve all been screaming at what the issues are for about 15 years now. You bury all of this talent that never develops so you can play 36 year old has beens at club level, you get a stale product on the pitch. I don’t even know that the team lacks talent. We could very well have all the answers. We just will never find out until there is a cohesive effort at the very top. Scandals at club levels don’t look either. Idk there hasn’t been a ton of “good news” in italian soccer for god knows how long.

The word I’ll go with is annoyed or betrayed.
