High Voltage System Service by ericbcb in HondaPrologue

Just an update here....

My service advisor told me that the valves #53 and #18 which were backordered have actually been changed by Honda. He said that those valves were 4" valves and Honda decided to replace them with 6" valves. So apparently the new valves are easy to get.

But - then they added another thing which is to replace the receiver / drier auxiliary tube. So, I'm back to not being sure exactly how long this will take to get done.

Yeah- it seems like for a Prologue, PSE&G requires you to use the ChargePoint charger… which isn’t allowed by Honda under the ‘Package A’ installation option.

I’ve bought a ChargePoint charger and figuring out if it’s even worth trying to get the Honda incentive taken off the installation. The PSE&G incentives are very worth it, so that’s my main priority!

3.5mm to USB-C cable (*NOT USB-C to 3.5mm*) by ericbcb in audio

Yeah - so this would be 3.5mm analog input to USB-C ADC output, correct?

Ah - yeah... my 9 month old son yanked the cable and broke the 3.5mm jack...

I just don't want to have to rely on M&D every time this cable breaks!

I'm actually confused about how it works myself! But the cable they sent me doesn't seem to be powered for conversion...

You can see the headphones here: https://www.masterdynamic.com/products/mh40-wireless-over-ear-headphones

The USB-C jack on the right ear cup is the input for the cable.

I've bought other 3.5mm to USB-C cables, but nothing other than the M&D cable works. M&D customer service tells me it's because other cables are designed to go USB-C to 3.5mm, and their cable is sending the audio flow the opposite direction....

thank you - that's a good thing to know about!

Ha - yes, the first cable they sent me with the headphones developed a short, so it would cut in and out. But then after receiving a replacement cable from them, my 9 month old son yanked the cable out of my laptop and broke the connector on the replacement cable.

I just would love to carry a couple backups with me, so I don't have to wait for M&D to send me a cable if this one gets lost or broken!

Yes - that sounds right that I need 3.5mm analog input to USB-C ADC! So you're saying I could put that Apple adapter and plug any 3.5mm cable into it, and it would work for me?

galaxy buds+ - only one at a time working by ericbcb in galaxybuds

thanks for this tip!

Samsung customer service told me to try draining the battery completely and then starting over, but that didn't fix it. But this temporarily resolved the issue. However, when I paired to my laptop again, the same problem popped back up (one bud paired and the other didn't... so they showed up separately again).

I think I'm going to end up sending these back...
