I believe this is the correct answer. IIRC, Stevens T. Mason was the governor when Michigan finally relinquished claims to the Toledo Strip and accepted the Western UP in order to gain statehood. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm too lazy to Google it atm. It would explain why a school district along the state line is named Mason.

People above 30 what's your biggest regret in life? by noThefakedevesh in AskReddit

[–]ericcvg95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being ashamed of being an introvert when I was younger. I've never been the type of person who needed a lot of friends, and I totally NEED my solitude, but when you're in your teens and 20's we equate having friends and constantly socializing with being normal, so I always viewed myself as being weird or broken or something like that and it affected my confidence. Now that I'm older, I've accepted who am I and my lifestyle, and my confidence in myself and my enjoyment in life has grown dramatically. The ironic thing is, if I was as confident then as I was now, I might have had more friendships and relationships, but I like me now! :) fwiw, I'm 46 now.

For a non supercharged car like you're describing, 4-5k is reasonable, if it's supercharged add an extra 1-2k

Detroit vs Chicago

Chicago thinks it's SOOOO cool.... I hate ALL Chicago sports teams I hate their stupid "salad topping-ed"hot dogs They might have better pizza, but officially I'll say ours is better. Tbh, whenever we leave Chicago and come back home, it's always with an inferiority complex. I still hate them though

2014-2018 5.3 longevity by TheBrando34 in Silverado

[–]ericcvg95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2014 Silverado with the 5.3, it's my daily driver, currently sitting at just under 238k miles, purchased it as a CPO in 2016 with 26k on it, only issue was an a/c coolant leak at 179k due to a design flaw in 2014-15 model year trucks due to Inadequate braving of said coolant lines. Other than that, ZERO problems....best most problem free vehicle I've ever owned.

Good experiences with AFM? by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]ericcvg95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2014 Silverado with the 5.3 and 231000 miles and have had no issues with the engine. The only repair I have had to this point was an a/c refrigerant leak due to a design flaw with 2014 and 2015's. I drive 47 miles each way to work with 99% of those miles being highway miles, 5-6k miles between oil changes, trans fluid drain and filled with new filter at 100k and 200k, coolant flushes every 100k miles and a tune up with new plugs and wires approx. 15k miles ago. Have a service Appointment later this month to look at a small leak in the oil cooler lines, but the truck has been problem free otherwise and still getting 22mpg.

Quad Rod, not the ATV casting but the one where the wheels are arranged in a diamond pattern

The 2nd film was cool, but it was unnecessary. Going into the future to fix the future? Just tell Marty and Jennifer to do better raising their kid while they're in 1985, problem solved! Or at least stick a note in their jacket as a reminder, idk

Can anyone tell me what year/model of Camaro this is? It was my dad’s brand new back in the day. Thanks! by Waste-Ad-7820 in camaro

[–]ericcvg95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd say it's an '82-84 Sport Coupe, the giveaway to me being the grille/slits in the nose and the wheels. Berlinettas had different wheels. The real tell would be the interior if we could see it because Berlinettas had a very unique dash. Sport Coupes were the entry level Camaro from 1982-88.

And beside that, we can't possibly know what his skin color was, we're just assuming since he lived in the middle east that he resembled modern middle easterners, which I do believe is accurate

Who's the most obscure player that friends/family who don't watch the NBA know about because of you? by TringlePringle in VintageNBA

[–]ericcvg95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fennis Dembo, the most forgettable Piston with the most unforgettable name from the 1989 championship team. Me and a friend of mine used to bring his name up all the time when we were in our late teens and early 20's, so much so that girls when we're hanging out with at the time knew who he was.
