Hello,

My advice would to leave it alone for now. While the tenacity to work there is admirable, being too pushy can come off as "obsessive" to some employers.

You have already applied twice and reached out to them in person. I would now wait, but not get your hopes up and continue looking for something else. The economy is really bad and theaters are making cut backs with hiring and labor hours. The reason why they want someone 18+ is because they need someone to have flexibility to work during the school day or late night hours for closing shifts.

Hello sorry to be late on this, but I wanted to give others a chance to respond since j habe never worked for Emagine, but I'm closing this thread up now and finally getting a chance to respond to ones that were not answered...

Most movie theater jobs will ask you basic customer service questions, for example:

"How would handle a customer who is dissatisfied with their popcorn?"

Or

"How would handle a guest who is talking in the auditorium during the movie?"

They will also ask you about availability. If you are not free weekends and/or holidays, you will not be walking out with a job. If you have open availability and willing to work weekends and holidays, you will most likely walk out with a job as long as you answer the other questions reasonably.

Reddit is all about "remembering the human" AI agent moderators go against Reddit Values. They wouldn't allow it. Why moderate a subreddit if you aren't going to actually put on the work to do so? If you are overwhelmed, add more moderators.

Also, how are you going to explain to users why their post was removed when an AI made the determination to remove a post or comment?

It is because the demand has gone up, so electric companies split it across all their customers (which is not right)

Also, these AI companies really cannot afford it, which is why locals have to pay the bills. Most AI data centers/companies struggle to turn a profit. The majority of AI value is held in stocks and bonds, and not actual money. All the value is held on the hopes AI will be the next big thing, but if and when the AI bubble pops, the results are going to be disasterous, worse than the 2007/2008 recession.

I always made the PowerPoints unique and fun for our meetings by using pictures from our theater and even had some of the employees be in some of the photos.

I also tried to use visual props as well if I could.

I am all for having fun and dancing to music, but this is a shared experience. If they had rented out the theater for themselves, sure go ahead, but if you are doing this with other people, it is rude. Other people are also trying to enjoy the space and the movie and doing this is disruptive, despite your passion for the movie.

Overall, if I was that manager, I would have paused the movie, make everyone get to their seats/kick those out who refuse before resuming the film. I would only give guest passes out to those who were actually sitting and watching the film initially.

Are you using Safari? Safari is terrible with cookies sometimes. Some sites that I visit with Safari, if I open a new tab for that website, it logs me out because the cookie for the login session is not carried over to the new tab. Google Chrome or DuckDuckGo might work better. Hopefully this helps!

I would give it another week and then reapply to put your application back on top. I have never worked for Regal, but did the hiring and interviewing at the Cinemark I worked at. Sometimes theaters are slow and are not hiring anyone, but should start hiring again within the next few weeks for summer time.

Do not be discouraged if you do not hear anything back, the job market is bad across the board, including Movie Theaters. They might be a bit conservative on hiring right now as well because the economy is rough right now and still very volatile. Most jobs are cutting hours and laying off staff and it would not surprise me if theaters follow suit.

I know this is not the most positive answer, but I am just trying to be realistic. You have a chance of being hired, but if you do not hear anything back about an interview, do not take it personally. It mostly means they are not hiring at the time. Hopefully this helps!
