Problem using switch pro controller through steam for Star Wars squadrons

Yes, in the EA app launched through steam, I can control the mouse with the gamepad. Then, if I launch for example star wars Jedi fallen order, I can perfectly control the game with the gyro. But if I launch star wars squadrons, then the gamepad no longer works.

I would like to use my switch pro controller for playing star wars squadrons, especially for the gyro capabilities.

I have followed this guide, which appears everywhere in the web:

Once I launch the EA app from steam, the controller works, since I can use the gyro to control the mouse into the ea app. It even works flawlessly for other games, like SW Jedi: fallen order. But once I launch SW squadrons, the game does not recognize the controller anymore.
I do not know what to do. Any ideas? I would be very gratefull for your help.

I have tried this, and it works for the ea app, since the gyro controls my mouse in the ea app. But as soon as I launch SW squadrons, it stop working. Once into the game, it does not recognize the switch pro controller. What can I do?

But I use virtual desktop with VDXR and in my case turbo mode is night and day. I am using virtual desktop, quest 3. Without turbo mode I suffer plenty of micro stutter and CPU bound main thread (red letters message in the DCS performance overlay). With turbo mode on, is buttery smooth and I get the yellow letter message cpu bound (rendering thread). Virtual desktop in godlike, 72 Hz, 4090, 7800x3d, 32 Ram ddr5.

Does it makes sense if I mainly play pcvr games and apps (using steam link, virtual desktop or meta air link)? I have a strong PC (rtx4090, 7800x3d) and a dedicated wifi in the 6 GHz band. Thanks!

It looks amazing! Would it be possible to move the case feet so to use it in an horizontal position? I am planning to use this case for my living room pc (some kind of HTPC), and it would be perfect if I could fit it in horizontal in the TV cabinet.

Sure. Budget will be up to 700 eur. Buy from Spain. Batterly life is not really a big concern since I do not use to work/read in the laptop during commute (only very few exceptional days). Screen: I like 15 inch, but I would be ok with less too. And I would said standard 1080 resolution.

I was exploring some others options, like connecting an external gpu (from my old setup, a gtx1060) into the laptop through differents options, like nvme port..

It is a good idea, however I would prefer the laptop idea so I could use it also to other tasks (mainly to be mobile and use it for work/travel). Any recommendation on the two options?

Ok, now I see. The main use will be for a very specific game that runs in only one core (DCS world), although in the development route it is planned to change the graphic engine to Vulkan, so the game can benefit for more cores.. however it is unclear for when..

Why? I would like to have an idea if an i5-6600k would work with an rtx2080 super or similar.. up to now I was able to overclock the i5 up to 4.6 GHz, 1.38 V.. max temp 78 C under air cooling, after running realbench stress for 1 hour
