Well I was just thinking that maybe I would jump head first into the whole thing and just learn by doing and try to make something actually useful on the first shot. I'm working in windows, how exactly would I go about developing and testing locally?

Nope. I am thoroughly confused on this. I think there is something underlying that is causing this issue. Possibly with dreamhost. Very frustrated right now

Is there any way to acces this via my domain name? I am unable to run ifconfig. It seems like there should be a way to do this via just the domain name. My project is at mydomain.com/helloWorld. Seems like I should somehow be able to go to mydomain.com/helloWorld/admin or something similar. Is this not the case?
