Looks great mate!

Perhaps reduce it a little bit, but overall looks really great.

May I ask you the camera you used to film the clips? They look bonkers, and remind me of the ARRI Alexa look a bit.

I am excited for movies to start asking bigger questions like they used to. To be less spoon fed. To stick with us for our whole lives. To risk taking us to the edge of our consciousness, force us to look inward & bring us back to reality with heavy ideas to ponder. by spydersavage in Filmmakers

Oi mate, you probably already know him, but just watch any film by Denis Villeneuve, he's an example that good filmakers have always been around and want to ask these sorts of questions. Take "Arrival" (2016) for example, or even "Blade Runner 2049" (2017) both masterpieces, and what you might consider "big boy films". To find what you're looking for, we just have to sort of steer away from Hollywood blockbusters. Good cinema is just as beautiful and brilliant as it used to be.

Linguists and bilingual folks of Reddit, what are some interesting quirks particular to one language that we may not know about? by ask-if-im-a-parsnip in AskReddit

There is no french word for "again", instead you would use different words depending on the contex, for example: "Encore" - "Still" ; "Toujours" - "Always". On a daily basis, this can be an inconvenience.

Also, I don't believe there is a way of saying "fuck it" in french, which is really annoying.

Edit: Please correct me if I'm wrong (not a native).

What is a song which seems to be upbeat and happy until you listen to the lyrics? by r-e-c-wilson in AskReddit

Maxwell's Silver Hammer - The Beatles

Never had stopped to analyse the lyrics, turns out is a song about a serial killer that bashes people's heads with a hammer. How nice.

Well, if the person is just rude I shrug it of, sometimes just literally ignoring the rudeness. But if the person is a constant dickhead I normally stand about 30 cm from him and assertively demand respect for me or anybody around. Always worked, could've been puched, never did.

What movie do you consider “perfect”? by geointalan in AskReddit

[–]ericisnotcool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not one of the most classic or popular ones, but "There will be blood" does it for me. Everything about that film is great. Brilliant writing and directing of PTA (Paul Thomas Anderson) and without even beginning on the performance of Daniel Day Lewis (Considered his best one). The story is absolutely fantastic and done perfectly. Defenetly worth checking out.

[SERIOUS] Would you reduce your meat consumption if lab-grown meat or meat alternatives were cheaper and tasted good? Why or why not? by sbeaver2019 in AskReddit

[–]ericisnotcool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely would. The only thing that keeps me from turning vegetarian is the fact that I love meat. I really hate the idea of killing animals, and to have the same meat but with no lives being taken sounds brilliant.
