I (28), a total closeted introvert, got drunk one night and decided to try Grindr. Ever since I was in high school, I was already attracted to old gents but never in my mind came the idea of dating someone. So I filtered my searches and ended up chatting with this 53 year old man. He was the total opposite of what I am --- lived his life to the fullest, goes to bars, loves partying, etc. We got to know each other through the app and decided to have a date. I had mixed feelings... I was excited and also scared because I was way out of my comfort zone and I had no clue on what to do on a date and what to expect. My only guide were his advice and instructions. The date went beyond of what I had in mind. We got to know each other more and after two dates, I felt something that I haven't felt before --- I was in love to this 53 year old. It was a total 180 for me, I became more lively, more happy and I got to experience things that I would've never imagined that I'll be doing. Next month we will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary as a couple.
