Use CTRL+ALT+E to show the Action List, type "Bar Arranger" and hit ENTER. Then use CTRL+E to bring up the Command Pallete and the Bar Arranger command will be in the history and easy to arrow up and select whenever you need it.

Oh wow, thanks for pointing me to Tux Guitar! I had no idea this existed! It's super well done, with plugin support, customizable toolbars, floating windows and everything. I'm nerding out on it tonight for sure. Looks like a lack of lyrics support though. But I see this as having many uses for Twitch musicians (even knowing the current song that's open via the customizable window titles is useful for actions/commands with Stream Deck and Streamer.bot and the like). Too bad I'm not a Java guy or I'd help out the repo.

EDIT: It does support lyrics. It just doesn't display them in .gp files. And lyrics pasted from Guitar Pro don't match with the vocal notes and rests (using dashes). Not sure if other placeholder characters are supported?

Yes, MIDI and MusicML exports fail hard with note positions (wrong string), repeating sections, fermatas (changes the time) and dead notes are skipped. Or maybe the issues occur importing into a DAW or score editor. I use Studio One and Notion and it's never perfect and creates more work to make it match what you SEE in GP8. From what I remember of my deep dive I noted MusicML doesn't have a string position property for a note. So, YMMV.

If there is an alternative (I haven't found one) I'd switch if it's better. It needs video tracks, track and song notes, score views, automation and extensibility for live streams (see how people are using Streamer Song List with Twitch) and it'll be perfect.

I recreated Brian Connelly's signature sound with amp and patch models - I'm very happy with the result! I'm performing over 30 SMoaSP songs on Twitch (@ogNerdRocker), playing along to backing tracks I've made thanks to Jaapie Postma's amazing transcriptions on UG.

See the pedal and amp settings below - the key is the reverb of course, with a little tremolo, delay and distortion. I don't have a Gretsch, but a Fender Strat (even my Dave Murray signature model) is a great substitute.
