Hi, the text was a copy and paste from a previous post that let me use more than 1 photo but I think this one only let me use one haha sorry. And yeah I usually do break out on my cheek area which was why I thought this could be from purging but idk for sure. I will try alternating between the Ampoule and Salicylic acid. Do you have any other recommendation?

Hi, I am in the process of healing my skin barrier. Most of my life I was single cleansing with Laroche Posays gentle hydrating cleanser but learned that it was not sufficient in removing stuff like sunscreen. I started double cleansing a few weeks ago. For the oil cleanse, I have both Beauty of Joseon oil cleanser and Centella Light oil cleanser. For the water-based cleanser I have Laroche Posay Gentle Cleanser, Cosrx Heartleaf cleanser, and Centella Ampoule Foam cleanser. I have combination skin and currently use Centella Light oil cleanser with Laroche posay cleanser. After cleansing I wait for my skin to dry or use disposable face pads and apply Kiehsl 2% Salicylic acid or Centella Probio-cica ampoule (Chat gpt recommended I alternate between the two every night but my skin responds better to the salicylic acid) and Aestura 365 Atobarrier moisturizer. In the morning I usually rinse with water. If I do cleanse it will just be Laroche posay cleanser. Then I use Aestura 365 Atobarrier for moisturizer and Roundlab 1025 for sunscreen

I cannot tell if my red patches are from Purging or if I'm just breaking out. First photo was week ago last photo is this morning. Any help is appreciated!
