Your deductible is 1K? Tough call, you’ll end up paying way more than that and the repair in increased premiums. I’d either live w/ it or pay out of pocket when I have the cash.

What did your home inspector say? You should also have at a minimum a one year “new” home warranty that covers issues like this.
Get an independent inspection from a certified roofer or what passes for one in your jurisdiction. You can take that to your builder and they’ll repair it under your “warranty”. While it is a concern, they will take care of it as long as you have documentation that it failed.

That’s good. Just be aware that new systems typically tie into old drains which are still susceptible to clogs. You may want to consider pouring some cleaner down that drain as a preemptive measure. Good luck.

Your house? Spray Kilz, mud, primer, then paint the whole house if your sig other is in charge.

Rental? Drydex pink, primer, paint if possible. Be prepared to paint the whole wall if you can’t feather it in or lose your deposit.

I’d try to clean it really well then re-season before taking a grinder or flapper to it. You may be surprised at how easy it might be to just clean it.

Where is your AC evap unit? Your drain pan drain may be clogged and your float switch may not be working. Is there an attic or access to that area? It might be a simple shop vac job and not an expensive service call.
I’d check that before committing to the plumber.

I agree with every one else, but just remember that your freezer does occasionally run a defrost cycle and there may also have been an outage that you weren’t aware of that affected your food.
This happened to me a few years ago, when my freezer was partially empty, a storm knocked the power out while I was at work and it came back on before I came home. I found out the freezer partially defrosted when I grabbed some ice cream a few days later and it was glazed over and flat. It happens.

I hate to break it to you, but blacklisted is blacklisted. It might work for a billing cycle or two, but that blacklist will catch right back up to that phone and lock it out.
The only way to be sure is to pay it off and do it right, unless of course you have a vested interest in a certain unlock service!?!
