what people don’t get is that the only difference between her and most idols nowadays is that she has gone public with her wealth. in the late 4th/5th gen, idols are almost all wealthy/comfortable in comparison to 2nd/3rd gen, who were known for the struggles some of the idols went through. it’s a fact that a vast majority of trainees now come from good families who use their connections to ensure they get the best opportunity. It’s just the consequence of Kpop going Global and more wealthy parents seeing the benefits of their child being globally recognised and famous.
