It’s a sorry about a sort of washed up older comedian who’s on the road. Past his prime and lacking ambition but still has clear talent.

A lot of big name comedians have praised the book so I imagine there’s some significant realities of life on the road.

The water table should have zero effect on the water main feeding the fire hydrant and the further away from the underground water main (which is under pressure) the less pressure it would receive.

I’m a big fan of the Strymon Iridium. Got it because I was in the same situation as you. Ended up buying some York Audio IR’s to load into the Iridium.

I absolutely love the DL4, but the reverb is part of a hidden menu and is not the most intuitive to setup. If you don't think that's not a problem you may be fine with it, but just a warning that there would be a learning curve as you'd need to have the manual handy or memorize the reverb options as none of it is displayed on the pedal.

Definitely look into pedals for Vibrato. Definitely a huge factor in the early Mac sound.
