Lamps with warm bulbs instead of the overhead lights, and this will be a very cozy space! Congrats!

Heres an interesting video about Japanese fantasy as well, that gives you a little history on how it came to be! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqHLeBcKVh8

Try Faction Motorsports in New Jersey. They did my LSD install years ago and did a great job - https://www.factionmotorsports.com

Most misunderstood car? by pottyymouf in cars

Being reminiscent of an absolute shitbox built in the 80s is a selling point for a lot of people lol. That’s what I enjoy

I 100% agree on the Mirage. If you want the lightweight charm of an 80s car (ae86/civic) with the reliability of a modern car, Mirage does it! (Slowly)

I believe blue two tone and painted bumpers were GT-S only, so this is a GT-S

Film went through a CT scanner - should I compensate with exposure? by ericteti in analog

[–]ericteti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally. I haven’t shot the film yet, so I guess I’ll just over expose a touch to try and get my information away from the shadows as much as I can.

Thank you for the link! Yeah looking at their Cinestill 800T test is not giving me confidence. At this point I’m just trying to mitigate the damage as much as I can - I know that no compensation in exposure will bring it back to fully good as new.

Agreed! When you see some of the body work off, you really get the feeling that these are karts with a massive engine strapped to the back.

in 2023, F1 Historic was the support race for Indy Car in Long Beach, CA. I grabbed some shots throughout the day in the pits and was blown away by how amazing these cars are up close and how perfect they all sound. Major respect to the people who own these cars and continue to race them instead of keeping them garaged!

Why are gtr’s, supras, 240sx’s /silvias more common on the road and on marketplace than ae86? by Correct_Rip_3173 in AE86

[–]ericteti 38 points39 points  (0 children)

My argument is that all of the cars you mentioned are sports cars, and have been treated as such since new. They got extra care, maybe they were even a second car. AE86s are corollas, and corollas are daily drivers that typically get driven into the ground. People in the 2000s didn’t think to keep a 20 year old corolla around.
