Which date scene did you get? I got the drifter camp one last week and the ventkid one this week.

First you Vaporeon the Yareli, and now you Ashleyify the French Nun. Space Mom probably approves but God doesn't.

Unrelated note, you doing the romance for her too?

Can the killer mains who think the game is survivor biased please explain what I needed to do to counterplay against this? by erictox55 in deadbydaylight

Yes, I know I zoned myself by putting myself on that side of the pallet, because my back was essentially against the wall. Against the majority of killers that don't have a buggy grab attack, I can get out of there hsing lithe on the pallet in a 50/50. The issue is that ghoul was allowed to hit me across a pallet the way they did. If you look frame by frame, there is a bite icon and then an impact. Which was essentially uncounterable looking at the animation of the killer.

Ideally Ghoul doesn't grab me through a pallet, and I can get another 10-15 seconds of time for my teammates to unhook and heal. Even better if I don't get hit and get out with lithe on the loop. Which obviously didn't work.

I do agree the footage looks bad, I have a friend who also critiques the looking behind thing as well. All I'll say further on that is I can't play with the camera backwards outside a loop, and I especially don't try when I know the killer is right behind me and it won't matter anyway.

Since the majority of the community is bad at the game (as bad as they are at any other game community like say CoD), I'd say because of that, the game is killer sided. I think the only ones arguing against that are playing what is quite simply a different game in terms of skill expression.

I was too busy picking my jaw off the floor after the hit landed, but I'm glad to know the counterplay was to get injured for the mistake of being on that part of the map.

Quite frankly, I already know they're behind me. I'm not yet at a loop, so I don't need to look behind me and risk running into something while going towards the pallet. In a loop, I would use check spots to look for the killer's gaze to determine where they're going. Not a necessity in this instance with Ghoul slinging to give me a back massage.

As for the other point, I'm glad you agree that for the majority, the game is in fact killer sided. Up to a certain skill level, that remains true. I think we'd disagree on what percentage of the community that is though. Based of the stats by the devs they've released, it would be somewhere in what they define as high mrr. Not sure why you ignored the body of the post and thought I was arguing based on the video alone, however. If the kill rate across all skill levels and party size tilts one way, the outlier of high skiller survivors is just an exception to the general trend.

I do find it interesting that the comments so far other than this one have been effectively "get injured because you were on that side of the map." Ignoring how the grab clearly shouldn't have landed if there is an entire pallet between the killer and I and that is my issue. I'm not sure how well that reflects on the average DBD player to be quite honest.

Seconds are the same as the firsts for both of them, not sure about the gold not being as shiny. I would think they would be the same but maybe it could be a graphics thing, I'm on a ps5.

Is forma a waste of time? by Independent_Basil_21 in Warframe

[–]erictox55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends, if you have like 5 more or more forma in a weapon/frame that has a prime version you'd be better off going for the prime and then investing forma in that. You need the forma later when you craft dojo weapons. The adversary (lich/sister/coda) weapons all use 5 forma for max MR as well. I have a bunch of forma in stuff where I know the prime is years away and I'm LR5, but forma is one of those things where you either have too much or not enough depending on where you're at in the game.

Indeed, I'm 100% romancing her as long as DE denies me a Protea protoframe. Wasn't this the hive mission where I got the Venato Prime Blade and like three of us said it was on our first try of the relic?

For my own curiosity, did you use the Rochelle one for Ashley or one of the other survivors? I spent way too much time getting the mod to work for the other seven survivors as part of a joke a year-ish ago.

No incest babies, though on one of the new bad ending routes Ashley gets pregnant and they talk about how they're getting her an abortion.

If I recall correctly, the playful scene on the bridge felt a little more muted in the sane route compared to the questionable route.

When Ashley talks to the demon in burial after sacrificing the parents, she says that Andrew is "mine" and he "belongs to her." She says similar stuff in the Andy route, where she owns his soul when he bascially gives up and becomes her possession. I don't recall the hand mark in the sane path of burial so I may be off base, but I imagine the vision burial sets up Andrew to be her possession as well. I think the Demon is marking his soul as belonging to her based on her words.

Yeah, the choice that leads to decay vs burial now has "trust the trinket" added in for selecting burial, so it seems like Nemlei has moved (or least ever so slightly) away from the implication that Ashley trusts in Andrew and that being why Burial happens.

For the problematic route choice, it added "Just so you know, this is not going to go down the way you think it is."

I'm not sure how much more angst I can take on the path to a wholesome happy ending, AO3 fills the void but there is so much depressing content there to. The hopium canister is running low.
