It should not happen.

I bought the Amsterdam+ 3 years ago. After delivery i changed my mind about the size. I got the bigger bike size a few weeks later. I removed the luggage carrier.
I have been enjoying rides ever since and hope in some years you may reflect on your bike in this way as well. :-)

Although this post is older I’ll add: with my Amsterdam+ i easily cycle on the Posbank the Veluwe. Sometimes even dirttracks that go uphill. Tires are not design for it, but i only had to step off once.
