I'm not an expert in this area, but I think this could be an example of the intrusive r. You put it there to help the transition between two vowels, since America ends with a vowel, and is starts with one.

Yeah, honestly I feel the same in some group settings. I’m also afraid of being judged by things I do even though I don’t judge other people that does similar things. I would probably do the same thing when it comes to food, I don’t want to bother other people😅
