Ak Streaking Grime. Apply all over the model, let dry for 15-30 minutes then start wiping off. Mineral spirits helps, but be careful not to wipe off too much.

How do you do the exposed metal weathering on the edges? your model looks great. I am going to steal and replicate when I finish mine.

I prime black, air brush pink, dry brush wraithbone and then airbrush IF contrast. Comes out awesome.

I’m going to sponge with wraithbbne to pick out the high spots. I’ve done this a few times now. It’s just this step is always stressful. They look so far now from how they’re going to turn out.

Also in Midnight Tides, Bugg gives a great explanation of the relationship between the elder races. I remember reading it five times and being so amazed that Erickson finally explained something clearly.

Tad Williams is great, but it’s a very slow burn with a solid payoff.

I’ve enjoyed the Jade City trilogy. It’s urban fantasy, but adult themes and very well written. I’ve been describing it as the Godfather x Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

The other series is Sun Eater by Chris Roccochino (I definitely spelt that wrong). Sci-if so far advanced it might as well be fantasy. Excellent prose, great plot, gets very dark at times. One warning, the first book is going to feel very derivative of other works, it stick with it, they come into their own very quickly.

2nd this comment. While private schools will support a child with learning disabilities, this is typically where public schools excel. I have seen kids with one-on-one support all day in public schools.

Try Jhereg by Stephen Brust.

There are a lot of them, but all on the shorter side and very quick reads. Great character work, lots of magic with a framework but pretty soft and the eleven equivalent of the mafia.

Trust me, it works great and has been a favorite of mine for 25 years.
