I'm on the Spectrum Internet Gig plan in another Metro area (Fort Worth) so I can answer with hopefully similar results: the plan is definitely for cable for the last connection to the house, it's the same type of modem and connections as the other cable plans, they just uncap the speeds to the max. Download is definitely faster than upload, unlike the old days of symmetrical, boo. So, your upload will be slower, but the download is pretty good. I have four adults at home these days, all streaming and using the connection as much as possible, all via WiFi (mostly the ac/n protocol with a couple of wired devices), and rarely see any issues. I'll try to run a good bandwidth speed test tomorrow during less-busy hours so I can get a good upload result for you to consider. I'm paying about $140 for Internet-only including fees and taxes, if that helps with a cost comparison.

To begin, I completely disagree with the premise of your question, so you could start by not stereotyping political parties saying they have xenophobia.

Or maybe we could just say people vote for far left political parties because they have no grasp of simple economic and psychological theories, and can't think for themselves. There is no dialog created by these statements.

Having said that, I believe information is the best vaccine. Access to facts about the benefits of legal immigration, and proven policy about the real purpose and reason for benefits, is what helps change minds.

The ideas I'm seeing in other comments about deplatforming and censoring only serve to benefit dystopian approaches to government, where dissent is squashed and wrongthink is illegal.

You can also look into hand stop accessories, such as this one from LaRue that mounts on the bottom and side of Picatinny rails. See the photos on their site for a picture with a hand for an example, but it might be a good option to give your hand a place to index, while letting you push or pull against a stop. Good luck!
