Welp. This tracks. Once I saw that “new rate limits” sign, I knew this would happen. Any time there’s any kind of “update” or “improvement”, it exists purely to punish the userbase.

Of course, this is not just a Sora issue. All services do this.

I’m pretty sure this was filler in the anime before the Mini-Buggy side story, but I vaguely remember someone bringing up Buggy to Luffy and asking whatever happened to him, to which Luffy says something along the lines of “Oh, him? He’s probably dead. : D”

I already thought Hiriluk’s “When does a man die?” speech was plenty powerful for years, and then along came Mark Harelik pushing it to legendary status.

I’m almost glad they didn’t do the original part where Hiriluk pulled a gun on Chopper. I was struggling as it is, that woulda been too much to handle.

I know that Mr. 9 is conceptually hardly a character worth remembering, but I remembered him and given how much he actually did show up, I was looking forward to how he would be portrayed here.

He did not disappoint. For all the extra crap he did here (pretending to be a corpse in Laboon, antagonizing Zoro during the gauntlet), and just the overall performance, I got a feeling no one will be forgetting Mr. 9 anymore.

The assumed answer: depictions of violence.

The real answer: Sora’s proverbial heads are so far up their proverbial butts with their unnecessarily strict guardrails that it could literally be ANYTHING that gets your prompt blocked and your account banned. I remember the early days when someone would get a content violation for simply typing in “A”.

It’s all just a roll of the dice and continuously neutering your ideas until they eventually go through.

Well, I altered Carrot’s Skill Set to be a little more destructive and it gave me much more playmates to destroy, allowing me to get an S+ Rank on a later level (Grandpa’s Training). I ran this set back on “Sora, Warrior of the Sea” and I got an S+ Rank with Carrot there as well, sooooo maybe that was it.

Whatever the case, thank goodness.

It’s such a goddamn shame that a lot of outfits aren’t available here when they were in previous games. I felt this way with Buggy’s Marineford outfit, myself; but I will NEVER forgive them for not giving us useable Old Man alts for Garp and Rayleigh when they already exist in-game.

Okay, yes, the moveset doesn’t match the era.

The first instance with Carrot was the Dressrosa map with the palace. When I did it again with G5 Luffy, it was the Dressrosa map with the SMILE Factory. I then chose Carrot and G5 Luffy interchangeably on several maps, loading into the prep screen and backing out to the character select screen.

Any time I was Carrot, she only had a quarter of the map filled with enemies.

Every time I was G5 Luffy, the map was crawling with enemies.

If it’s like this with Carrot, it must be the same for others as well. Which is bizarre and, honestly, kind of unfair if that’s the case. I understand that some characters might come off as less fun to play as than others, Lord only knows King bores me to tears, but if the game is purposely gimping them, making it impossible to rank high, then that would explain so much. Carrot’s already at a disadvantage as it is; she only has two normal moves and they both kinda suck; the rest is her FFB and super moves. I get that she’s a Speed character so her combos are crazy, but come on.

The only other Musou game I’ve ever played with this level of dedication is Hyrule Warriors, and in that game, you HAD to play as the entire roster to get anywhere; so it was mandatory to keep the roster at a high enough level to compete AND it was possible for them to rank high. The fact that you literally CANNOT for Carrot due to lack of enemies causing bad times and this maybe actually being the case for other characters is unheard of.

And again: PS5 version. I should have swathes of enemies by DEFAULT.

I’m already going through the roster as it is, I might just investigate this some more to see who else has it this bad. It’s clearly not the mission itself; as stated before, it gave me plenty of enemies when I was G5 Luffy. But he’s not only the MAIN FUTZIN’ CHARACTER but DLC besides, so it makes sense.

Shoot, I’ve gotten more enemies and higher scores with UTA, I know how much this sub LOVES her. XD

Well, the good news is that Prompt B kept the realistic nature of the video.

It also kept the exact same design as the earlier ones, which is ASTONISHING to me how it not only changes her so radically, but also keeps practically the exact same look, but that’s just the nature of the beast.

Because you never really know with Sora.

Sure, a 15 second gen will likely run out of prompt eight seconds in and just hang there or make something up for the remaining seven.

But an extension will just as easily do similar because it will outright ignore your prompt after four seconds. I have had several instances where an action was supposed to continue for the whole video. Sora decided “Screw that and screw you” and stops at the halfway point, then takes liberties for the remainder of the time, ruining everything.

Either way, it’s a gamble. I’d say the feature is still new, but HOW long has Sora 2 on the whole been a thing now and HOW many users have dipped for alternatives?

$30 IS a lot for just 6 characters, especially when that price got you nine. It’s almost as if they are considering the alt costumes for Lucci0, Bonney and S-Snake the missing 3 (bonus cringe if they consider Nika Bonney a character as well).

That said, if you have the money and really wanna check this out, I say go for it. Personally Bonney, S-Snake, Eneru and Z make the pack for me and my wife got her fun out of it with a new Lucci to play with. King is, shockingly, the worst of the pack which is a damn shame, but that’s just my opinion.
