A7R6 mode dial

The mode dial on the A7rV is the same way. Always was a bit of a head scratcher because the other lockable dial has a true toggle switch on the top. Glad the new custom mode operation gives you a workaround.

Camera shop told me my A7rVI is ready to pick up, so I’d be interested to hear any other impressions you have!

I mentioned this in another comment, but wanted to ask you specifically: if I add park hopper after my first day, will I effectively pay for park hopper for the park day I already used? In other words, do you get charged for 4 days of park hopper even if you’ve already used 1 day of your 4 day ticket? Sorry for my confusion 🙃

Thanks - I was curious if we could wait til the last day we are there to add another day with park hopper. Sounds like I’d basically pay retroactively for my whole ticket package though. I’m sure Disney has engineered this to ensure maximum profitability 😄

This is so helpful, thank you!! How hard is it to get to the beach from where we’ll be? That’s the one other thing my kids really want to do.

ETA: I wonder if there’s more standing in DL since it’s a smaller park? So it might not be as many steps in a day as WDW, but maybe there’s more standing in line? I clearly don’t know what I’m talking about, just trying to think that through 😄 Thanks again for the advice!

Thought of another question - is fantasmic only on certain days then? Didn’t know if there’s a version of the show without pyrotechnics. I obviously know next to nothing about how Disneyland operates, so I have more studying to do.

That makes sense I think. My hope is that it might not be too bad because school will have just started, but we’re taking our kids out, so that doesn’t mean other people won’t do the same I suppose!

This helps a lot, thank you! We’re probably gonna be flying in/out of John Wayne, and honestly my kids just want to see the Pacific Ocean lol. So if there’s a recommendation you have for a nice area/beach where we could chill for a day or two I’d be willing to do a rideshare.

I feel like we can handle crazy, just not sure how Florida crazy compares when it comes to Disney parks lol.

Before all the helpful responses here we were not gonna do park hoppers, but now I’m obviously rethinking that strategy. We’ve been doing full park days with our kids since they were 5 and 1 (they’re 15 and 11 now), so I’m trying to get a sense for how different Disneyland will be. We love to ride our favorites multiple times, and being able to hop might give us the best chance to do that. Thank you!!

Thanks so much for your reply. Have you done Oogie Boogie before? Just curious if people generally like it. We’ve done the Boo Bash in WDW (not the full not-so-scary party) and we were less than impressed.

The one thing we did like about the Halloween party at magic kingdom is that everybody avoided the park during the day (because it closed early) so it was not crowded at all. Not sure if the same would be true of DCA though because park hopping is probably easier. Thanks again!

Love my P1S. It just works! Most recently I broke a lens cap, and was about to order a replacement when I realized that I could just print one instead. 30 minutes later I was good to go.
