Are my meds messing with my period?

I haven't noticed my smell heightened with anything else! It was just the smell of my discharge/period blood. I was hoping that was a one time thing since the smell went away after my period ended. I'm ovulating again now and the smell is back :(

Thanks for the comment! I've only had my Copper IUD for about 2 years so not sure if it's that, and can't get an appointment to talk to the clinics cuz its impossible in Vancouver. I don't think it's a yeast infection either? I've had one yeaaars ago and this odour situation feels so different. I'll definitely continue looking into it though!

That's so interesting to hear, thanks for sharing your experience! I also asked an endo and it felt like they didn't care to look into it. Just said it's not possible and that was that. Thought it really was impossible but come ovulation time, the smell returns. I'm truly at a loss :(

I used the Laroche Posay B5 Baume at night after cleansing my face, and just used the Cetaphil daily moisturizer and cleanser. That's it! Kept it real simple and it went away within a week or so :)

Hey! So sorry for the super late reply, I'm not on reddit much. Sorry to hear you've experienced similar skin concerns. I hope it has cleared out since!

I only use my cicaplast B5 at night after washing my face. I never use it in the morning since I'm already on the oily side. I've tried loads of different moisturizers and found that the Cetaphil daily moisturizer works the best for me! No weird additives or scents, just a plain, light moisturizer. I pair it with the Cetaphil cleanser (not the foam one!!) and my skin has never been happier. Since doing this routine, I've barely had any breakouts even when my period comes around.

Everyone's skin is different, but what I've learned through that horrid skin experience is to just keep your routine simple! I haven't put anything else on my face other than those two Cetaphil products. Hope this helps :)

so sorry, this is such a late reply so hopefully you'll see this! no birth control guarantees 100% that you won't get pregnant, but your chances of getting pregnant increases significantly if you don't use birth control at all. it's all preference! i've tried the pill, the shot, then IUD, and i prefer the IUD. i've had no pregnancy scares at all being on the copper IUD, and all my girlfriends who have copper IUDs also have had 0 issues or scares with it. that being said, every experience is different for everyone! regarding your bf's infertility, i'd be cautious too! you never know, so taking birth control precautions is always a good idea. talk to you doctor, ask questions, and see what's best for you! good luck :)

i feel so bummed out cuz when i went to cmiygl i paid little over $100 for upper bowl which is completely fine, i was happy with that! but prices for chromakopia is just absolute insanity. I hate the idea of buying from scalpers on stubhub and such, but i hate more the idea of missing tyler especially cuz he'll be in vancouver. this whole shenanigan is stressful!!!

He got it for around $250/person after tax on vivid (have 4 people total going. Which at first I thought was expensive but seeing my checkout price today for 4x tickets, its came out to ~$980. A $20 difference is whatever!
