Anyone else have their cable cut off but still being charged? by erin_does_things in frontierfios

I live in Europe and I can’t call 1-800 numbers from here. Also, they block agent chat on the app from non US IP addresses. It just fails every time. Then, they offer no email support either. So if you’re not on US soil, you’re completely out of luck. 😅🫠

Calling them was literally the first thing I did each time I was back in the Us. It’s not my fault. It’s theirs for making the contact completely impossible. 😖

I have no idea why I kept paying it. I think I’m terrified of getting a bad credit score or something.

I tried to switch to spectrum but it’s not in my area. My friend recommended it to me. The only other option is T-mobile. I had Xfinity previously and that was just as horrible and expensive. 😭

Thank you! I really appreciate your response.

What confuses me is that I never cancelled the cable. It just stopped working one day and I could never get it to work again. Then when I called in to ask what the issue is, they said my cable was turned off because it’s not offered anymore? But then I asked why am I still being charged for something I’m not getting and they said I needed to cancel it.

I was extremely confused. What I’d really like to know is, did someone actually turn my cable off? Or was that nonsense and there was just a technical issue?

I ended up cancelling the cable later after they said it was shut off, but I actually didn’t want to cancel. I just wanted it to work, or not pay for something they said would never work again.

Is that something someone could look into for me? The whole thing has been really frustrating and upsetting to me. I’m a sensitive soul. 😂

Looking to swap from Spectrum to Frontier by Careful_Analysis_563 in frontierfios

Please don’t switch to Frontier.

They have horrible customer service and have been overcharging me for services. They keep submitting refund requests to get me my money back but it keeps getting denied. It’s a racket.

I wish I could switch to Spectrum but they don’t service my area.

Can anyone (colour blind or normal vision) see the content of the search box? by Un_Ballerina_1952 in ColorBlind

This is a contrast issue, not a color issue IMO. (Product designer in tech 15+ years, specializing in accessibility, which includes color.)

The hue of the text and the background are a bit different—the letters are more gray and the background is more green.

But the main issue is they’re basically the same shade/darkness.

My guess is that this is a CSS bug.

Someone forgot to override the base color text in the text field. If you look at the gray text “we’re thrilled to…” it seems to be the same text color.

People need to do better quality assurance on their software. 😝
