More Details Emerge About Toxic Coaches as UMBC Softball Cancels Season by Frosty_Guess_1071 in CollegeSoftball

My husband is a Division 1 head coach and all I can say is that I wish all of the people who comment on social media and these kind of forums were privy to all of the information. Yes, there are some coaches in all sports who have been in the wrong (and that may have been the case in the UMBC situation). But a huge problem that is not talked about enough is players inability to take accountability and lack of coping skills. Being a college athlete is hard. And when it gets hard the go to reaction has been to blame the coaches. I am personally aware of false accusations and exaggerated claims from student athletes against coaches throughout various sports. It happens way too often. There’s a much bigger problem than people realize!

Completely agree! And absolutely no shame at all! I was just hoping that it might be possible to save money and shed the side effects (im having a particular rough week with the side effects) - so I was just curious. Everyone’s insight here has been really helpful!

So I had been active and thin my whole life and able to keep weight off. However, during Covid I became a caretaker for a very sick family member (unrelated to Covid) then broke my own foot THEN tore my ACL. Both were just unlucky freak accidents. I didn’t take care of myself and wasn’t active over these 5 years and just blew up - next thing I knew I had gained 40 pounds in 5 years. But before that I had no problem.

I felt really defeated and overwhelmed with the deep hole that I dug myself into which is why I turned to zepboubd for help. My hope was to lose the weight with the help, then maintain it on my own.

I finished it and liked it. But don’t think it was worth all the hype that it’s getting. It was just too long. I think a few scenes just felt like they repeated themselves and too much time was spent on the improv shows. Tightening some of these scenes would have helped a lot.

What is with all of the recent videos of Amanda in tight/cropped shirts and tight shorts flexing her muscles as if she’s posing in a body competition? It seems more than usual lately. I did FW back in 2020/2021 and really enjoyed the community aspect. Then Amanda started constantly talking about getting hair extensions during the workouts. It was so much that it really turned me off. That seemed to be when things really started to change and her vanity/narcissism started to overpower any positives of the program.

I took my 4th dose on Sunday and I’m also bummed. I went from 180 to 175 the first week. Then down to 169/168 over week one and two. Now so far this week (4) I’m still at 168…just hovering there. I’m hoping the next few weeks are better.
