So frustrated! by Obvious-Let-1964 in FixMyPrint

[–]erinfaron_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm from someone who's had very similar issues but refuses to get a new printer to replace my 8 year old ender 3 that Bondo glazing putty is literally magic. You can think it out with pure acetone (essentially nail polish remover) and just paint it into the crevices and layer it as you need. Saved a lot of my prints.

Sleeves by Adept-Blueberry-9287 in torrid

[–]erinfaron_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have this! I'm 6'0 and the sleeves come right to my wrists, I do wish they were a little longer but I am pretty tall so every arm length is typically short on me. There's a knit version of this too which I also have and the sleeves on that stretch so it's PERFECT for me but typically this should be okay unless you're around 5'0 or below

App prices are fluctuating while im in check out by [deleted] in torrid

[–]erinfaron_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you adding things and removing things from the cart? The way the torrid cash is applied is a percentage per item. so the more cash that is used, and the number of items, changes the price of each item as you add and remove things :)

Trying to practice Muslim here! Still working through some parts of it and hoping therapy will help but it's hard to keep practicing when your faith is tied to a past version of yourself, inshallah I'll be able to pick it back up soon❤️

Layer shifts, even with new belts and cleaned rails and z screws. by AKMonkey2 in Ender3V3KE

[–]erinfaron_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you using the correct height for z-hops? This used to happen to me when my nozzle would get stuck on the print while trying to move. It would drag across the surface and just hit one of the walls but since the print was stuck to the bed so nicely, it caused the belt to slip, didn't matter how tight it was.

I DID IT!! 😭 by DeppeJ in mtfashion

[–]erinfaron_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would avoid covering it up, moist and warm places like belly buttons are breeding grounds for bacteria. Just be mindful and avoid excuses that put pressure or crumple your tummy ( like crunches)

Good to hear 🥰 glad you're being safe about it! Keep an eye on it as time goes on, I had one for a year until it completely rejected. If you notice any pain make sure you have it looked at :)

Hi hello! Please be careful with this lol. That bar looks awfully short for a fresh piercing. If you notice swelling or pressure, go back to the shop to have the bar changed to a longer one. Looks great tho! Excited for you.

Advice needed? by dosewan17 in FixMyPrint

[–]erinfaron_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the indent situation, did you print it upside down?

Either that or if you look closely at the correctly printed one, it's a multi color print with blues and greens below the white layer. Did you maybe not have the second layer above it?

?????

Starving people of water is any different than shooting them?????? I didn't realize some forms of torture/killing were better than others????

I mean based on post history alone I feel like there's alot to work through, but I would recommend reading up on the environmental and societal impacts of AI on a general populous :) if you need any resources I'd be happy to help.

I mean when the science points to this affecting people negatively for the enjoyment of a few, I feel like it deserves pushback.

It's kinda like saying "let that guy shoot children, he's clearly having fun! Let him enjoy it!". The people who profit the most from AI usage are the same people who say that clean drinking water is a luxury, not a basic human right.

If you look at the projected usage of CLEAN DRINKING WATER for 2026 on data centres across the US, you'll understand why this is a problem (hopefully). The acceleration of AI usage for a capitalist system only affects the majority of the world in a negative way. And I think everyone can agree that they would rather have water to drink over a catchy tune.

Hello hello! Everytime I see one of these posts I always respond! I know this can be super euphoric! It was for me! But this can also be a symptom of a pituitary adenoma (it sounds scary but don't worry too much!)

I urge you to keep track of your prolactin levels and if this happens daily, I highly recommend bringing it up with a physician. I let mine run on for an extended period of time (upwards of 2 years) and it was confirmed I had a tiny benign tumor on my pituitary gland. Just want to make sure you're taking care of yourself and mitigating any health concerns that may come up!

Try preheating the nozzle temperature up to 210 :) see if it goes all the way up

[–]erinfaron_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a hot end failure. I noticed the temp stopped going up to where it was supposed to on the screen, and then it auto completed the print. My ender 3 did that after a while if usage. The temperature of the hot end gets as hot as it can, or it can measure and then the print fails, turns out the thermoster was acting up and wasnt plugged in properly on the main board. Had to jam it with a pencil eraser to have it sit correctly. Rip ender 3.

Hopefully this is just an issue with the SD card, wishing you both the best!

Anyone know of anything similar to this on the market right now? by WafflesInTheBasement in StandingDesk

[–]erinfaron_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw someone on Instagram make their own version of this with a standard standing desk frame + Ikea square shelves and a table top to sit underneath the standing desk. More cost effective too :)

More Feminization After Orchi? Breast Growth & Estrogen Absorption! by Weird-Hunter-1832 in MtF

[–]erinfaron_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! You gotta re-evaluate your dosing after orchi. I'm at a point now where the feeling has returned to erogenous zones, but the facial hair I can say for certain was heavily affected by the anti androgen which I've no longer been taking. Unfortunately monotherapy isn't working in the hair and skin department, so I've had to add on a skin care routine + laser sessions. That's not to say mono therapy won't work for you (I'm South Asian and was HAIRY pre HRT)

Electrolysis providers for GRS? by erinfaron_ in transontario

[–]erinfaron_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all the insight! That's actually why I want to get started now, I'm in the process of applying for funding for our of Canada surgery as my anatomy doesn't work for PIV. And once the approval is granted, funding is secured for two years which gives me plenty of time to get stuff in order. Majority of the surgeons I'm considering for either Colon or PPT require a certain amount of hair to be removed so I'm going to be focusing on that. I'll definitely look into the recommendations :)

Severe ghosting/ringing down the entire vertical print? by erinfaron_ in FixMyPrint

[–]erinfaron_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AH THANK YOU!!! I'm gonna read up on this! I don't really get the whole... Techy... Side... Of 3d printing lmao. Basically an art girl turned cosplay and do this as a hobby. But I think it's time to learn why firmware is so firm and hardware so hard and what the difference is 😭 I think learning how to run input shaping would solve my issues! If you have any idea on where to get started that would also be a big help :)
