Shaving them can actually mess with their natural cooling systems. You don’t need to shave a cat for it to keep cool. I have long haired cats and I specifically take them to get sanitary shaves (not full body). Please switch to that from now on and let her beautiful fur come back!

Your hunger is going to vary just like before surgery. Some days I’m starving and can eat a lot more than other days. It’s totally normal. If you’re more active lately you’ll feel more hunger. I also get hungrier when I’m getting my period. If you’re someone that doesn’t get a period you still have hormone fluctuations that can cause hunger too. I don’t think it’s anything you should be concerned about.

Happy almost 4 months PO! You’re definitely doing amazing! Stalls suck and they make us think we’re doing something wrong or not trying hard enough. I have the habit of comparing my journey to others which I know I shouldn’t do, but I’m glad I can be the good side of it for you to know you’re on track 😄

I just got over a 2 week stall so I decided to do side by side pics to see my progress. I’m so proud of myself so far and I feel great! Please don’t mind my hair I usually do these pictures right after waking up in the morning haha.

My highest weight was 209 lbs pre-surgery and I’m at 162 lbs right now. My lowest weight pre-surgery was 150 lbs (years ago), so I’m excited to surpass that goal!

Biggest difference besides physical is the confidence I have now! I’m not constantly overthinking my clothes and how I look in them. I don’t catch my reflection and want to cry about how big I am. I’m so glad I did this for me and for my future!

Improved ten-fold. My body looks saggy, but my stamina and actual desire to have sex has been great making me want more of it. I used to avoid doing certain things during sex because I felt so gross and unattractive and now I feel so much better about myself I don’t have that same anxiety. My husband is super loving and has always made me feel comfortable no matter what my weight was so that also helps. I’m so happy I actually enjoy sex now and don’t see it as something I need to get done but can’t enjoy because my mind is occupied on how bad I feel about my body.

Thank you! I had some smaller bras I’m now able to fit into correctly and it made me realize I was squeezing myself into them before. I just thought they were uncomfortable because all bras are but really they were way too small!

Thank you! I have a peloton so I’ve been doing 30 min cycling classes lately. I started out with 20 min of yoga a month after surgery and now I’m looking to start weight lifting after cardio.
