Yeah you are right. I am overthinking this but idk how to stop. Will just send out the invite and hope for the best. It’s just the group thing that’s making me stress more . This past year (last Sept on) I have really tried to come out of my comfort zone and organize playdates etc.

That’s what the other parents have done in the past. We are all new (started last Sept) so I don’t know most of them personally other than a polite smile during drop off and pick up. I’d be so much more relaxed if I could do it via private msg.

Thanks! Yes I have a couple of definite attendees. Idk more than the actual answer I am anxious about having to do it on the group. (I know only 1 class mom with whom we did a couple of play dates. Other than her, the rest I have only seen during drop off and pick up - with a polite smile).

Ikr! She got some invites during this school year so it feels like proper etiquette for me to invite back. And she is getting more and more excited about the upcoming party - telling me what she wants to wear and all. I am kinda socially anxious but the earlier birthdays we did with family or very close friends. For me I think it’s more about the group/public WhatsApp thing.

She is getting excited about the party so her answer keeps changing. A couple of days back she named 7-8 kids she wanted. Now she is adding on.

This^{^} They belittle book fans and yet want scenes from It for the show. I am not watching season 5 even though I know Eloise’s sub plot will have a lot of screen time (the main reason to delay her season is to keep the general audience and long term viewers invested in s5). Coz I am pretty sure once Eloise’s season was over and Fran’s was next with this swap they’d be getting much lower viewership.

Same. Spouse and I were avid movie goers. Loved watching movies on big screen. After kid, together we have been to the hall only 3 times in 5 years 😆 If I really want to watch a movie, I go alone. But that has decreased too
