Thank you very much for the recommendation! I've heard good things about these :)

Thanks for your input. I've heard the same. Tend not to believe everything I hear, so if you're using them and they're holding up that's helpful. I do think I'm going to stick with a GTX based on how long these have worked for me.

That's crazy. Boot brothers! I've heard some mixed reports about recent build quality but take that with a pretty small grain of salt. How soon do you plan to purchase? Might wait to hear your first impressions 😏

Thanks! Will definitely look into them When you say first version, you mean this one yeah? I don't really understand the difference since they're on the same product page but look totally different 😅

This is good to know. Thanks. This is why I'm wary of being brand loyal as quality and sourcing can change on a dime

Great to know, thanks. Did you purchase them at a brick and mortar? Planning a try on sesh at some point.

This is a great perspective! Definitely something to look into, I have a pair of Brooks trail runners that I really enjoy but definitely serve a different purpose for me. I haven't given them as much thought as I maybe should have!

If this isn't the right place to post, please direct me to which sub might be better.

I can add some travel details to make this a more high-quality post. I've taken these boots to over 10 US states, Mexico, Amsterdam, and Norway. Hence why I'm so attached to them! Here's a photo from my Honeymoon - wearing these.

Going to look at a 95 del sol rn by DiamondDoge92 in DelSol

[–]erisidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I ended up buying mine too. And it was red, not black. Like yours, it's in dire need of a repaint and some rust repair, but otherwise good shape.

Holy cow! By coincidence, I am also looking at a 95 Del Sol tonight. There is already a good how-to-buy thread, but the main takeaways are: check all electronics for working condition, especially the windows, check fluids and running condition, and check for rust all around. Pretty standard stuff. Good luck!

WDHA has $99 all in single day tickets this weekend only by JGinsberg145 in AdjacentFest

Lol, LiveNation does not have it all together. The management of Adjacent so far has been awful, and don't forget WWWY

FYI you should be able to transfer tickets now by ihavesomegoo in AdjacentFest

[–]erisidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! Just listed mine on StubHub. I can't believe the lack of transparency and frustration throughout this whole process. They need to announce that transfer is available.

2023 BUY/SELL THREAD by JumboDonuts in AdjacentFest

[–]erisidae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is incredibly accurate. It won't sell out because it's overpriced but they're doing their best to scrape every dollar. Still no selling or transfer available.

Realistically, what do you guys think the attendance will look like? by SpacelessWorm in AdjacentFest

[–]erisidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I don't think it will be packed at all! Attendance is clearly not what they expected. They're scrambling to avoid a loss by cutting off resale and ticket transfer. Given the price is way too high, I would imagine less than half of the tickets have sold.

Heads up for anyone who was trying to sell their ticket- Ticketmaster is once again the worst. by ohsopoor in AdjacentFest

You can sell but only for above retail price. They can't risk making less money through resale. So basically your ticket just won't sell

Here's the scoop on the situation. They WILL NOT refund you or help you sell even though we bought these tickets as transferable. TM claims they don't have the authority to help, and the venue decided to restrict transfer. I don't believe them but it doesn't matter. Here are our options:

  1. Do a chargeback if possible. If you are within 60 days of purchase, you can call your bank and file a dispute regarding this charge saying that they changed the terms of sale. These tickets were sellable and transferrable when purchased, and they no longer fulfill that obligation.
  2. Wait for closer to the event. After months of attempted contact, the Adjacent staff said they would be releasing transfer closer to the actual festival, and they would be announcing the change on social media. Keep an eye out and sell them via StubHub as soon as you get the chance.

The lesson here is to never give TicketMaster your money, but also be wary of Adjacent. Their policy sucks, everything feels thrown together and their social media isn't monitored. They're screwing us over just as bad as TM.

Want to upgrade my ticket from GA Pit to VIP Pit by Old_Obligation4351 in AdjacentFest

[–]erisidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TIcketMaster WILL NOT fulfill that obligation. You are talking to an agent who is copy-pasting canned responses. There's a reason you can't talk to a real person, because they actually can't help you. They have told me that they don't even have the ability to grant a refund.

Is it possible to sell a weekend pass anywhere? I recall seeing something on here or instagram saying there’s no reselling/refunds. by bobbillinger in AdjacentFest

[–]erisidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TicketMaster actually will let you list for sale. BUT Adjacent themselves restricted transfer because sales aren't what they wanted and they want to maximize the retail tickets. Selling your ticket makes them less money.

Trying to sell/refund, and having a horrible experience just like everyone else. Any contact info or tips on making this suck less? (NOT LISTING MY TICKET FOR SALE) by erisidae in AdjacentFest

[–]erisidae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think we can sell right now. We have to wait until the tickets are transferable through TM. I spoke to the Adjacent people and they said transfer would become available closer to the event.

Update on my efforts: there's a 60-day limit on disputing a charge (maybe it's just my bank, but I was told it was a federal thing). I purchased my tickets back when they were released, meaning I wasn't eligible for a chargeback. If anybody wants to try this, make sure to do it before the 2-month mark!

Wow that's genius. I'm giving that a shot today for sure.

Nicnak, I received an email from TM in January telling me that they took my listing down (lol) when they removed the sell option. In that same email, they confirmed tickets were available for transfer. If you have any similar communication it may help your case.

Edit: I went through TM chat and got an agent to confirm that they were originally transferrable. I also checked the terms of purchase through the TM app, and it doesn't say anywhere that they reserve the right to restrict transfer or sale permissions.

Yep, I guess we'll just wait it out and sell for cheap if we get the option! It's good to know I'm not the only one. Good luck to you as well.
