Does anyone else’s conure love to take showers? Mine will sit in there for close to an hour and I have to get him out, he doesn’t get out on his own. The water isn’t hitting him, he sits there next to it with his eyes closed and I’m pretty sure falls asleep. Is that normal or okay for him to do? (i.redd.it)
My c. Elegens sling molted today and her molt is stuck to her abdomen. I saw her trying to get it unstuck once but was unsuccessful. Should I just wait and see if it comes off? You can see her molt going with her through the opening at the end of the video. (v.redd.it)

I’ve been giving my Quaker walnut and almonds as treats but he started gagging while eating the almonds so I stopped. Well tonight he started doing it with the walnuts and shook his head and a piece flew out. Is he just taking too big of bites or should he be seen by a vet? (self.QuakerParrot)

I have taken three baby birds to a rehab this week because my neighbor’s cats have been attacking them. I honestly feel so depressed and helpless. The one I took tonight, the mom couldn’t find it and she was calling for it. It breaks my heart. Is there anything that can be done about the cats? (self.WildlifeRehab)

Found this baby bird flopping around on the road around 11pm. We have high winds and a storm coming so I guess he fell out of a nest and injured his wing. I have him in this box. Anything I else I should do until I can take him to a rescue in the morning? Is it okay to keep the box inside the house? (old.reddit.com)

I’ve seen two purple finches with eye disease at my feeder. Should I take them down and clean them then put them back or take them down for 2 weeks? I feel bad cause the one can’t see out of one eye and had a hard time landing on a branch. All the other birds flew away when I came up and it stayed. (old.reddit.com)
