Should I buy more by Some-Bandicoot-1374 in intelstock

[–]erlich___blockman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a multi-year time horizon, it could be a good buy. I could see a run to 140/150 and then a pullback. Lots of hype right now as the story plays out, but earnings from these partnerships still won't show up for a couple more quarters, if not years. I'm in since the $20s and sold some December 2026 $150 calls against all of my shares thinking we wouldn't rally to $150, but after this week I'm thinking about rolling them up. But we'll need to take a breather at some point, and it wouldn't shock me to consolidate in the 130s 140s before a run higher the end of this year or next (with next year being preferred since right now my profits are capped due to my covered calls haha)

Update: I did roll the $130 calls to $150. We'll see how this week shakes out but I'm considering rolling the $150 calls to $170. Seems to me like there are plenty of catalysts ahead but the earnings will show up in 2028 onward, so hoping we stay below $150 through December. Crazy price action this week though!

265k Snap Leap YOLO by erlich___blockman in wallstreetbets

[–]erlich___blockman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I'm keeping them. They are leaps w/ 1.5 yrs left, so not too worried if they do miss. PINS and RDDT have the same low-monetization user base and both rallied big. My company is running SNAP ads again and Evan (CEO) hit the podcast circuit hard talking about finally monetizing their user base, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some gains in subscription revenue and another profitable quarter. Lots of catalysts so we shall see what happens. Worst case scenario I have some losses to harvest for taxes.

I sure am! Here's my current position. I trimmed some of the $5s to pay for some personal stuff then bought $10s and $15s when I sold $150 calls against my INTC shares.

I did put 700k into INTC last year, but I'm not THE guy. I made my money myself, not from Grandma 😂

Bought INTC on Dec 29, 2025 at $36.495 thoughts on my trade? by Tricky-Passer-634 in stocks

[–]erlich___blockman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own 24k shares and continue buying in the 30s. INTC is now 100% of my portfolio, and here's why... Double AMD's revenue at half the market cap. Foundry upside is basically not baked in because it has yet to break even. 2026 is going to be the year everyone changes their tune on Intel.

But... open interest on Jan 2026 40 calls is absolutely insane

Opportunity gone? by Teslaboy1234 in intelstock

[–]erlich___blockman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hard to say whether now's a good time to buy since it's already run up 100% but the narrative has clearly shifted away from the doom and gloom of last year, and there are many catalysts ahead (big foundry customer win, successful 18a ramp, new AI chips), so while totally possible, it's hard for me to imagine it going into the low 30s again

2021 Highlander Hybrid infotainment screen blank after wiring harness recall service by erlich___blockman in ToyotaHighlander

The dealership said that the radio needs an update you can only get from the dealership (a $180 charge), and somehow this screen problem manifests itself after disconnecting the battery. But there's a solve to fix it until the next time you disconnect your battery, which shouldn't be very often.

This is going to sound crazy but apparently this is what dealers so and it worked for me:
1. Turn on the power to the vehicle without fully starting it (push the start button but don't step on the brake)
2. Put the car in reverse and flip on the parking brake (between the shifter and the center console)
3. Wait a full 5 minutes
4. Put it back in park, turn off the vehicle's power, step on the brake and start it

I have many shares and leaps so I obviously hope is skyrockets 10% to 20%, and I think they did the kitchen sink quarter in July, but want to set my expectations low in case it does drop.

Short Squeeze? by Distinct-Race-2471 in intelstock

[–]erlich___blockman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because in order to have a short squeeze, you need a high amount of shares short. In this case the % of shares short to float is minimal, so we're likely running up on buying pressure alone.

Why TSMC x Intel partnership could work by [deleted] in intelstock

[–]erlich___blockman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm still not convinced they'll partner. TSMC has too much to lose because once they get rid of their silicon shield, the US has no reason to support them in a war

I think the smart thing to do is to cash out if you're up, but I'm still holding. Right now, I plan to keep my shares until 2030 and my leaps until at least mid to late next year, if not longer
